PURPOSE This tutorial will help you connect Jabmo with your Microsoft Dynamics CRM organization. 

 

PREREQUISITE Jabmo « Account Based Marketing » solution works with Dynamic 2016 online & Dynamics 365.

SOLUTION INSTALLATION A. HOW TO INSTALL THE SOLUTION? 

 

Jabmo Account Based Marketing solution installation only needs 3 steps. 

 

 

B. STEP 1: JABMO - DYNAMICS CRM ORGANIZATION CONNEXION 

  

1. ORGANIZATION SERVICE URL  

 

Add your CRM organization service URL to Jabmo Jabmo "admin / Microsoft Dynamics CRM organization service" form. 

 

  

 

 

 

Your CRM organization service URL is in « Settings / Customization / Developer resources » section in Dynamics CRM. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. LINK JABMO USER ACCOUNT AND DYNAMICS CRM USER ACCOUNT  

 

Every Jabmo user need to link his Jabmo and Dynamics CRM accounts so that he can get Jabmo integration with Dynamics CRM features. 

 

Go to « My Profile » section in Jabmo and click « Link to my Microsoft Dynamics account » 

 

 

 

 

 

To get Jabmo to load this configuration your need to switch to another section from the app and reload it (F5). 

 

C. STEP 2: ACCOUNTS SYNCHRONIZATION CONFIGURATION 

 

3. ORGANISATION SYNCHRONISATION 

Fill organization synchronization form in "admin / Dynamics CRM synchronization " section in Jabmo. 

This form will enable / disable your organization synchronization in order to: 

● Send Marketing Engagements for your target accounts from Jabmo to Dynamics CRM 

● Get your CRM opportunities to fill Jabmo sales Pipeline 

This form also contains a field for account matching between Jabmo accounts and CRM accounts. Jabmo provides a field for this purpose in its solution but you can use your own.

Jabmo integration for Dynamics CRM works at a user level! Link CRM user accounts to Jabmo to get the most from Jabmo ABM solution for Dynamics CRM. 

 

 

 

 

4. USER LEVEL SYNCHRONISATION 

Fill "settings / Dynamics CRM synchronization " form in Jabmo.

D. STEP 3 : JABMO ABM SOLUTION IMPORT 

 

Download Jabmo Account Based Marketing solution:

Log into Dynamics CRM and go to « Settings / Customization / Solutions » section.

BEST PRACTICES A. INCREASE ACCOUNT MATCHING BETWEEN JABMO AND 

SALESFORCE ACCOUNTS 

 

Most of data flows between Jabmo and Salesforce are based on an account level. Jabmo integration matches Jabmo and Salesforce accounts.  

There are two matching cases:  

● one on company names and  

● one on company national IDs.  

The second one is more precise and give more results. So we preconize to add a custom field to your “Accounts” in Dynamics CRM and report its name in "admin /

Dynamics CRM synchronization" form in Jabmo. Jabmo integration will automatically use this field to match accounts. 

« National Ids » are displayed in Jabmo account page. 

 

 

B. CONFIGURE DYNAMICS CRM OBJECT ACCESS 

 

 

To get Jabmo integration for Dynamics CRM to work you need to check Dynamics CRM object rights. Please have a look at the appendix to review the mandatory fields. 

 

Jabmo integration with Salesforce data flows is bidirectional and work on a “user” level. 

Jabmo integration with Salesforce needs access rights for some Salesforce objects so that it can read and add information. To be sure your Jabmo integration with Salesforce works fine please check the table below, you’ll see what object is accessed for each feature. After that you can check “Appendix” section for more detailed information.
