Books currently available for review in Public Understanding of Science Public Understanding of Science would like to encourage submissions of: Reviews of a single book (max 400 words) Review essays,  which take several new publications on a given topic and offer a comparative assessment (maximum 1200 words). Example topics we would currently welcome review essays on particularly include science communication in a global perspective; secrecy and/or ‘openness’; public health and/or biomedical sciences; environmental policy and publics.
