What is a Plenary

Indulgence?

 A Plenary Indulgence is the remission (taking away)of the entire temporal punishment due to sin so

that no further expiation (suffering) is required in

Purgatory.

How Can a Plenary Indulgence be

earned?

1. Have an express desire to receive it.

2. Go to confession (within 7 days if not feasible

on the day).

3. Receive Holy Communion.

4. Pray once The Creed, Our Father and Glory

Be for the Pope.5. Give alms.

(We can receive only 1 Plenary Indulgence a day but we can offer the rest for the holy souls - not for another living person.)
