The Arunodhaya Childrens Homefor the mentally handicapped

• Situated in Marawilla with 40 Differentially Abled people• Ages from 8yrs – 35 yrs old• Most of them are Orphaned or have been Abandoned due to the special

needs• The conditions range from Down Syndrome, Brain trauma and Severe

Dyslexia • The Children's home is Privately Funded and thus lacking in most

essential items• Most people avoid Donating/Visiting this home due to the dejected

health/mental condition of the children

The Preparation

Arriving at the HomeWe took supplies such as :• Gifts & Toys• Writing & Coloring Items• Basic Rations• Specialty Food• Clothing• Milk items• Detergents

• Christmas Cheer

Meeting the Children

We greeted them with gifts, food and supplies

Handing out gifts and supplies

There was Laughter, Joy & Surprise…

They repaid us with their smiles

And then we all had a great time!!
