    1. introduction

Thank you for choosing the q-loader custom loading system, the first of a new genera-tion of clip-based paintball loading systems.

The q-loaderwas developed around innovative new technology for loading and managingpaintballs. The result is a high-powered clip-based system that can be used with virtuallyany marker.

    marker compatibility

Adapts to virtually any paintball marker ina number of dynamic configurations.

    standard size clip

Replaces standard reload pods and workswith some existing harnesses and belts.

    constant feed + pressure

    Maintains paintballs in constant align-

ment and pressure regardless of themarker orientation.

    30+ balls per second

Feeds paintballs balls faster than any hop-per system, because each q-pod is loaded

with a presorted stream of 100 rounds.

    increased maneuverability

Allows the marker to operate smoothly atany angle and even while being shaken.

    lower target area

Reduces the player target profile bymounting the loading system under thebarrel.

    silent game play

Feeds paintballs silently and reducespaintball rattle by isolating every paintballwithin a helical drive tube.

    clip-based loading

Offers the same advantages of the clip-

based loading systems the military hasbenefited from for more than a century.

The q-loaderis capable of delivering 30+ balls per second, continuously under pressure, for 100 rounds regardless of marker orientation or game play intensity.

    robust construction

Utilizes stainless steel and polycarbonateconstruction and is designed to deliverover 1,000,000 paintballs during its life.

    ultra reliability

Reduces jamming, miss feeding and ballchopping and other problems associatedwith loading systems that sort paintballswhile firing.

    zero batteries

Each q-pod stores enough energy to feed100 rounds, which means youll never runout of power.

Before you begin, please check the contents of yourq-loaderto make sure it includes ev-erything shown above, and that nothing appears to be damaged.

It will take approximately 15 to 30 minutes to setup yourq-loaderand prepare to use it forthe first time. It is very important to follow all of the instructions in order for it to functionproperly.

step 2.3.11Double check that thefeed tube length

is properly adjusted by looking throughthesocketand ensuring that 2 paintballstouch in the place shown above.

    notice

When the paintballs quickly zip throughthefeed tube, thefeed tube length maytemporarily stretch out of adjustment .

Shooting your marker a few times will re-lieve the excessive pressure and allow thefeed tube to shrink to the original length.

If one or more paintballs break while

quickly zipping through thefeed tube, you may need to pre-fill thefeed tube withpaintballs by hand before engaging the q-pod or apply fewer pre-winds to the q-pod(sections 3.6).

    notice

If the feed tube length is not properlyadjusted, a paintball will stop between aq-pod and thesocketand the paintball will

break if you try to disengage the q-pod.

3.2. cleaningCleaning yourq-loaderis simple and usually the only routine maintenance that is re-

quired. You may use mild soap (common dish soap) and warm water to clean the compo-nents if they have dirt or paint residue on them.

Yourq-loadercan usually be cleaned without being disassembled (section 3.3). The com-ponents are all water safe, and may be fully submerged in water if necessary.

    warning

The q-pod contains a high-poweredspring. When disassembling a q-pod, the force of thespring could cause the internal q-pod parts to be ejected uncontrollably. This presents apotential hazard that could cause severe bodily injury.

    tips

The gear shown below is recommended for cleaning yourq-loader. Water spray bottles areparticularly helpful for cleaning yourq-loadercomponents.

step 3.6.3To pre-wind thespring motorfrom a neutral orrested state, pull thespring connectorback past

the hex nutand turn the winderclock-wise 12 to16 times. After becoming familiar with your sys-tem you may find it necessary to add or subtractpre-winds with out completely unwinding yourspring motorfirst.

    note

Turning the windercounter clock-wise will decrease thespring motortension, and turningthe winderclock-wise will increase thespring motortension.

Make sure the hex nutat the end of thespring motoris threaded back against the damper

    4. safety & precautions >Paintball industry standard eye/face/ear and head protection, designed specifically for

paintball games, must be worn by user and any person within range. Do not shoot at aperson at close range. Must be at least 18 years of age to purchase. Persons under 18years of age must only use under adult supervision. Observe all local laws, regulationsand guidelines. Use only on professional paintball fields where codes of safety are strictlyenforced. Use .68 caliber paintballs only.

Do not interfere with any of the safety features your marker may have while setting up or usingyourq-loader.

A q-pod contains a high-poweredspring. When disassembling a q-pod, the force of thespringcould cause the internal q-pod parts to be ejected uncontrollably. This presents a potentialhazard that could cause severe bodily injury.

Refer to the disassembly section for safely disassembling a q-pod (section 3.3).

Do not insert your fingers into a q-pod, as the parts may cause severe bodily injury.

    caution

Do not attempt to wind a q-pod and dry-fire or freely unwind it. This may damage the internalq-pod parts.

Use only fresh and good quality paintballs.
