Introduction

•Qatar Pharmaceutical Industries, is a privately owned Company, located in the New Industrial Zone of Doha, the capital city of Qatar.

•Area of Qatar: 11,610 km²

• Total Population: 2,300,000.

• Type of Economy: High-income economy. The economy depends on hydrocarbons; the country possesses the biggest natural gas field in the world.

QPI Establishment • Qatar Pharmaceutical Industries (QPI) is located in the New

industrial Area of Doha.

• QPI was established in 2014

• The area of the land is 30,000 m2.

• QPI will go through three stages

The first stage is to establish a specialized manufacturing site for production of all forms of Cephalosporin's and Penems.

Regulations

•QPI will comply with the international standards of Good Manufacturing Practice.

After completion QPI will comply with:

FDA, EU, and the GCC regulations.

Where we are now

•The steel structure of the first project is ready.

•A specialized company for designs, started to do the conceptual and basic design.

•Soon will be ready and we will move to the detailed design and then the execution of the construction.
