DESCRIPTION

Stumps :Shikhar Dhawan got to 150 off the last ball of the day before bad light forced an early end. India have had a perfect day without losing a wicket throughout. Dhawan's comeback has been a memorable one. Bangladesh's bowling has been woeful on a pitch that is dead on day one. Only a rain break gave the hosts some respite in an otherwise forgettable outing. With more rain predicted for the next four days, Bangladesh may well save the game but India look very well set to post a massive score.Batting feast continues :The crowd is completely silent and that tells you a story. Bangladesh are yet to pick a wicket in the day. Both Dhawan and Vijay are now looking to consolidate but the former is still scoring boundaries at will. The partnership is over 200 now and Bangladesh have not come close to picking a wicket for a long time.

Live Cricket Score of India vs Bangladesh, Only Test, Day 1

Stumps :-Shikhar Dhawan got to 150 off the last ball of the day before bad light forced an early end. India have had a perfect day without losing a wicket throughout. Dhawan's comeback has been a memorable one. Bangladesh's bowling has been woeful on a pitch that is dead on day one.

Only a rain break gave the hosts some respite in an otherwise forgettable outing. With more rain predicted for the next four days, Bangladesh may well save the game but India look very well set to post a massive score.

Batting feast continues :-The crowd is completely silent and that tells you a story. Bangladesh are yet to pick a wicket in the day. Both Dhawan and Vijay are now looking to consolidate but the former is still scoring boundaries at will. The partnership is over 200 now and Bangladesh have not come close to picking a wicket for a long time.

Record partnership :-184 is the highest opening stand for India against Bangladesh. That has been eclipsed by the Dhawan-Vijay duo. Dhawan is batting as if it were a 'net' session. Bangladesh don't seem to have a plan whatsoever. They are going through the drills quite listlessly. Makes for dull viewing.

We'll have go back to the toss when Mushfiqur lost the toss and termed it 'really unlucky.' The captain seemed to have lost hope even then and Dhawan's assault has made things a lot tougher. Yet another high score looms as India get set to bat for close to two days. This script is an old one. Bangladesh need to provide an inspired twist from somewhere to make it interesting.

Hundred for Dhawan :-

Lot of nerves for Dhawan as he got closer to his ton but he managed to put away a half volley to the square leg boundary. That must come as huge relief. Vijay got his fifty much earlier and Bangladesh are getting no respite.

Milestones approaching :-

Both Vijay and Dhawan have continued just the way they left off. Dhawan's into the nineties now and Vijay is closer to his fifty. India are moving on quite confidently and Bangladesh are getting pushed behind rather quickly now.
