Dear Friends, I count it such a privilege to serve the Lord in Quiet Time Ministries. I love every aspect of writing books and messages that touch the lives of others, encouraging them in their relationship with the Lord. But there is something supernatural that goes into every Quiet Time Ministries project. And that is the “behind the scenes” work that God does in my own heart as He takes me on a journey custom designed to prepare me for each book or message. I have always said, “You can’t write or preach what you do not know.” And what I mean by that is the importance of God’s school to prepare for ministry. I love God’s promise in 1 Peter 5:10 that after we have suffered “a little while” He will restore us, and make us strong, firm, and steadfast. Last year, as I walked through the journey of my father’s cancer and going home to be with the Lord, I was prepared by the Lord to write the book and messages for the newly released Walk on Water Faith. I find myself now on a new journey as my mother suffered a massive stroke just two weeks ago. I have already learned in a whole new way the power of God and His magnificent promises and how to put my faith into action. And oh what joy to see the fruit of Quiet Time Ministries. We have two new groups preparing to study Set My Heart On Fire – Experience the Power of the Holy Spirit. And yet another new group in Washington studying Walk On Water Faith – Discovering Power in the Promises of God. And I spoke with a pastor in Oregon who is growing his small group church ministry with Trusting In The Names Of God – Drawing Strength From Knowing Who He Is. Amen! Your faithfulness, prayers, and financial gifts are essential for Quiet Time Ministries. Oh how thankful I am for you! Your generosity allows countless projects to come to life! God bless you!
