I disagree because according to me quantitative research is
better than qualitative
research because quantitative research is based on figures and
statical data by
which its result is better than qualitative
Qualitative research is the research which is done on social
sciences and is not analyzed by the
facts and figures.
Quantitative research focuses on the left brain - objective,
comfortable with logic, numbers, and
unchanging static data and detailed, convergent reasoning rather
than divergent reasoning.
Qualitative research deals with the right brain - the hemisphere
accountable for processing data
as words, emotions, feelings, emotions, color, and music.
Third and the last point in the qualitative research model and
theories are built but in the
quantitative research those models and theories are tested.
Quantitative researches include fresh hand data which make the
result more effective and
reliable. And for quantitative research no expertise re required
this type of research is also moretime and cost effective as
compared to qualitative research.
Another plus point of quantitative researches is that in all
over the world 95% of the researches
are quantitative which prove that quantitative researches are
better than qualitative. Quantitative
research is also more reliable than that of qualitative research
because as I said before it is based
on complete facts and figures.
Example:
Like different researches conducted by the students of the
university level on the different topics
are also quantitative researches. Like how advertisement affects
the purchase behavior of thecustomers.etc. So these kinds of
researches are the quantitative research. And it is easier to
do
the quantitative research than qualitative research. Qualitative
research is also time consuming
research
Another example of quantitative research is of Asian development
bank. This bank also does
quantitative researches and collects the data on the basis of
figures.
All the surveys regarding earthquakes and floods are also done
by quantitative research model.
Conclusion
After analyzing all reasons and facts of both of the researches
I suggest that quantitative researchmodel is more better than
qualitative because it is based on mathematical and statical data
which
give s you very accurate result
So if any research is done on facts and figures it gives you
more accurate results.
