Theauditrevealedthemanufacturerhasarobustqualitymanagementsystemwithgooddocumentcontrolandmaterialstraceability.Resourcestrainingrecordsindicatedcapableandskilledpersonnel.CapacityandworkloadweretobediscussedatorderplacementasthemanufacturerhadcommitmentstofulfilorderfromAmerica.Non-conformingproductsareidentified,isolatedandrepairedasperweld-repairprocedure.Weldrepairswerex-rayedtoconfirmquality.Aweldrepairmapwasproduced.Giventheauditresults,hrl:recommendedthattheclientplacethecaststeelbogiesmanufacturerontheirrecommendedsupplierlist.
