Cased Hole/Electric Line Services Quality Energy Services provides Cased Hole Electric Line, Combination Slick line/EL and Memory Tool Logging services for the Offshore Gulf of Mexico, Deep water Gulf of Mexico, Onshore Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Colorado, Wyoming and Inland Water areas. The 24 finger Electronic SRO/Memory Sondex Tubing /Casing Caliper is used to provide the most accurate tubing measurements in the industry. The tool can be deployed in the well via slick line, coil tubing, braided cable or mono-conductor electric wireline. Once the tool reached bottom, it is time programmed for the fingers to motor to the open position. The spring loaded, hardened tip fingers push against the ID of the casing or tubing with a low force. As the tool is logged up the well, the movement of each finger is transferred to a position sensor. The output of the position sensor is then digitized for recording into the memory section or transmitted up the electric wireline. Data from each finger is monitored independently. At the end of the logging run the fingers are motored to the closed/retraced position.

The tool contains an inclinometer to denote the high side and well deviation.

Wiva Software

One of the most effective ways of understanding the condition of a well is to produce a 3D image. To achieve this, QES offers a package called Wiva.

Wiva allows the operator to look at features from different directions. Full control of the displayed images allows it to be angled, rotated, lengthened


FREEPOINT INDICATOR & STRING SHOT


Freepoint tools give torque and stretch readings in tubing, drill pipe and casing. Freepoint tools can be run with centralizer springs, magnets or motorized centralizer springs. String shots can either be run in tandem with the freepoint tool or on a separate run.

The CHEMICAL CUTTER is a mechanical/chemical pressure-actuated device that is based on the oxidation/reduction process. This chemical process produces a cut that is uniform and non-deformed. This aides in fishing operations reducing the need to “dress” a typical cut with fishing tools thereby saving rig time.

Electronic Dump Bailer utilizes a battery operated motor to open and close an O-Ring seal piston. When run on the bottom of a Dump Bailer, the system uses a timer and temperature device to open the piston at a pre-determined time and temperature to allow the media in the bailer to dump.

Mechanical Cam Cutter is used to cut slick line or cable down hole in wellbores to separate the stuck down hole tools from the deployment line. The operations require for the Wireline Valve to be closed, pressure released from the lubricator and the lubricator lifted to gain access to the line. The Cutter is placed on the line and the lubricator is replaced on the well, pressurized and the Wireline Valve open to the well bore, allowing the cutter to free fall the top of the stuck tool string rope socket. Once the tool hits the top of the rope socket, the cam cutter is turned to cut the slick line or cable

Flow Control and Rentals Quality Energy Services Flow Control and Rentals group provides equipment for Frac Flow backs, coil tubing wash outs, blow outs, drilling choke operations and a various other flow control applications. Our Valve & Wellhead Department has an experienced and dedicated team specializing in offshore, inland and land. Our Valve and Well head Department can handle any valve, regardless of size, with the highest degree of safety and customer satisfaction.

We specialize in all brands including WKM, Cameron, Fisher, Wood Group, Wheatley, KF, National, OCT and Vetco Grey with types ranging from Ball, Gate, Check, Control, and Back Pressure Valves.

Well Head and Valve Services Quality Energy Services offers a complete range of manual and automated valves for both the upstream and downstream facets of the oil and gas industry. We offer new well heads from 5,000 psi to 15,000 psi with the ability to provide 20,000 psi equipment or special alloy trees/valves. This division has the ability to repair all valves on site including wellhead, pipe line and flow systems. We currently run fourteen repair and maintenance supervisors and man four full time seven and seven or fourteen and fourteen maintenance crews. Additionally we provide our clients with a hot tap system utilized when a well head has a damaged or frozen valve. We recently added the personnel and expertise to drill through casing and pipe via the casing manifold or pipe. Current operation is housed in our Houma, LA district.

Plug and Abandonment/Remediation Quality Energy Services offers experienced Plug and Abandonment personnel and equipment for both offshore and land to plug and abandon well sites or individual wells that have depleted. Our capabilities include use of marine rigs or rig less spreads. We also have the capabilities to work over wells down due to down hole formation damage or requiring zone changes and/or isolation. Our current rig scope is mainly in the shallow water marine areas or onshore. Our rig less spreads can operate in all zones including Deep Water Gulf of Mexico and Onshore. We have an engineering department that will support the client with permitting, well/job design and procedures. Current base of operations for the plug and abandonment and rig group is Houma, LA.

Re: Quality Energy Services P&A Equipment and Crew Capacity Quality Energy Services has the capacity to support five operational crews. We can additionally support two 12 hr. spreads and / or one 24 hr. spread. Quality Energy Services has resources to call from our Slickline, Cased Hole Electric Line, Cleaning, Wellhead and Valve, Marine and Flow Control divisions with trained and experienced personnel in the varied facets of P&A services. We also operate several crew-only projects where the client owns their own P&A equipment. We can access key individuals from those ranks if needed. Our rig crews are cross trained for Rig less P&A Operations and the P&A Personnel are cross trained to handle rig operations. Additionally, QES’s operations can and will handle project management of several operations simultaneously in the event extra capacity of personnel is required. These additional personnel can add capacity to our capabilities.

The QES P&A Department continues to grow with equipment personnel and support staff. The current employee count for P&A is 35 people and 27 for the Cased Hole groups. The training and certifications are up to date and SEMS processes are in place to manage the department and help the operator report to BESE / LA DOC Regulatory personnel in regard to all aspect of a P&A Project. Quite often the engineering, supervisory and operations management is on call to help the operator to respond to any and all questions pertaining to any project. Throughout the last four years Quality Energy Services P&A has expanded to include a variety of Services; including cleaning and cased hole services. Both compliment our P&A processes in any project and the additional operations assist P&A concerning down hole SL/EL/& P&A fishing capabilities.
