The basicsStands for the British Standards Institution (BSI).BSI was the first national standards making body in the world.It is independent of government and a non profit organisation.EN means the standard is European and used throughout Europe.It is globally recognised and serves the private and public sectors.It represents the UK interest across all of the European and international standards committees.BSI has published more than 21,000 standards.
