Quartus II Web Edition PLD Programming Tutorial

I. Begin by selecting the correct device as shown. Note that this must be done at the start of the project. Doing this after

opening the project may result in problems. Our device is EPM7064SLC44-10 in the MAX7000S family.

II. After completing your code, assign the inputs and outputs to the correct device pins as shown by selecting

Assignments � Pins

III. Next place the PLD into the device programmer with the dot facing up and aligned with the bottom

IV. Now press the Programmer button. This will bring up the programming screen.

V. Check the boxes Program/Configure & Verify and press the Start button.

VI. When the progress bar reaches 100% and the red light on the programmer is off. The chip is ready to be removed.
