There will be a March in Solidarity starting at the Four Directions Indigenous Student Centre (144 amp 146 Barrie Street) This march around campus is to help support those who were affected by the racist and homophobic incident in residence
Everyone is invited flags drums and any other expressions of your identity are encouraged Kandice Baptiste Janice Hill and members of Queenrsquos University Native Student Association (QNSA) will be speaking at this event

Join us for the 19th annual Queenrsquos Health and Human Rights Conference We aim to unpack the complex interactions between the environment and human health with a particular focus on disproportionately impacted populations Specific topics will include Northern and Indigenous health technology public policy and advocacy relating to climate changes in local and global settings The conference will feature workshops panels and a community fair in hope to facilitate conversations on access to water food sovereignty and health-focused solutions This conference is a multidisciplinary platform so regardless of your field of study you are welcome to attend and learn something new

The 18th Annual Crossroads Interdisciplinary Health Research Conference is happening March 13th and 14th 2020 at the Halifax Central Library and Collaborative Health Education Building (CHEB) in Halifax NS Crossroads is a student-led health research conference hosted by the School of Health and Human Performance Graduate Student Society Over the course of the conference you will take in a great panel presentation covering lsquoHealth Research with Indigenous Peoplesrsquo in addition to a keynote speaker You will be able to participate in interactive workshops and a group Naloxone training as well as present your research either orally or through a poster Registration includes your meals during the conference and access to all conference programming including a lunchtime social event where facilitators will lead open and welcoming discussions on various health-related topics A limited number of travel grants will be available for students traveling from outside of the Halifax area httpsdalcrossroadscomtravel

The 18th Annual Crossroads Interdisciplinary Health Research Conference is happening March 13th and 14th 2020 at the Halifax Central Library and Collaborative Health Education Building (CHEB) in Halifax NS Crossroads is a student-led health research conference hosted by the School of Health and Human Performance Graduate Student Society Over the course of the conference you will take in a great panel presentation covering lsquoHealth Research with Indigenous Peoplesrsquo in addition to a keynote speaker You will be able to participate in interactive workshops and a group Naloxone training as well as present your research either orally or through a poster Registration includes your meals during the conference and access to all conference programming including a lunchtime social event where facilitators will lead open and welcoming discussions on various health-related topics A limited number of travel grants will be available for students traveling from outside of the Halifax area httpsdalcrossroadscomtravel

The 18th Annual Crossroads Interdisciplinary Health Research Conference is happening March 13th and 14th 2020 at the Halifax Central Library and Collaborative Health Education Building (CHEB) in Halifax NS Crossroads is a student-led health research conference hosted by the School of Health and Human Performance Graduate Student Society Over the course of the conference you will take in a great panel presentation covering lsquoHealth Research with Indigenous Peoplesrsquo in addition to a keynote speaker You will be able to participate in interactive workshops and a group Naloxone training as well as present your research either orally or through a poster Registration includes your meals during the conference and access to all conference programming including a lunchtime social event where facilitators will lead open and welcoming discussions on various health-related topics A limited number of travel grants will be available for students traveling from outside of the Halifax area httpsdalcrossroadscomtravel
