UNDER THE SUSTAINABLE PLANNING ACT 2009

A Ministerial designation has been made

I, the Honourable Cameron Dick MP, Minister for Health andMinister for Ambulance Services, give notice that under theSustainable Planning Act 2009 , chapter 5, part 2, I made aMinisterial designation of land for community infrastructure.

Description of the land to which the designation applies

The Ministerial designation applies to land at 2082 Wynnum Rd,Wynnum West.

The land is described as Lot 1 on SP291067 and Lot 2 on SP291067.

Type of proposed community infrastructure for which the landhas been designated

The land has been designated for the Wynnum Health Precinct(comprising the New Integrated Health Care Centre andReplacement Ambulance Station).

The community infrastructure is described under Schedule 2 ofthe Sustainable Planning Regulation 2009 as follows:

7 emergency services facilities9 hospitals and associated institutions15 storage and works depots and similar facilities, including

administrative facilities associated with the provision ormaintenance of the community infrastructure mentionedin this part

NOTICE OF AUTHORISATION OF A MOVEMENT CONTROL ORDERVARROA MITE CARRIERS NO. 2

Pursuant to section 124 of the Biosecurity Act 2014 (the Act), Ihave authorised a Movement Control Order directed ateradication of varroa mite (Varroa jacobsoni ) by restricting themovement of carriers and describing control methods.

The movement of the varroa mite (Varroa jacobsoni ) carriers isrestricted within the Townsville City Council local government area.

The Movement Control Order provides specific details regarding thecontrolled biosecurity matter, the area to which the order relates,the purpose of the Order and the prohibitions and restrictions thatmust be complied with by persons to whom the Order applies.

The enclosed waters of The Spit (Marine Stadium) Gold Coastnorth of a line drawn between the low water level at the southernend of the western arm of The Spit and the western extremity of theboundary between Muriel Henchman Drive car park adjacent theVolunteer Marine Rescue base (Southport), as shown in red on thecourse map prepared by Maritime Safety Queensland, designatedplan “A1-229”, held at the Maritime Safety Queensland RegionalOffice, Gold Coast.

The “dangerous waters” detailed in Schedule B above are describedas visual links to geographical features to enable participants,enforcement officers and other waterway users to easily understandwhere the event will be conducted. The actual line will be clearlydefined with marker buoys for the event.

As shown in red on the course map prepared by Maritime SafetyQueensland, designated plan “A1-229” and held at the AreaManager’s Office in Gold Coast.
