I, Patrick Quirk, General Manager, Maritime Safety Queensland, pursuant to Section 18Aof the Transport Operations (Marine Safety) Act 1994 , exempt the owners of the ship“L’Astrolabe”/“YWAM Liberty” , from complying with Section 206 of the TransportOperations (Marine Safety) Regulation 2016 relating to the payment of pilotage fees forthe ship’s operations within the Compulsory Pilotage Areas detailed in the Schedulebetween 24 March 2017 and 23 March 2019.

LOCAL PLANNING INSTRUMENTS (THE GUIDELINE) MADE UNDER THE SUSTAINABLE PLANNING ACT 2009
At its council meeting on 14 March 2017, Central HighlandsRegional Council adopted Temporary Local Planning Instrument01/16 – Operational Work within a flood hazard area in accordancewith section 117 of the Sustainable Planning Act 2009 .
This temporary local planning instrument applies to all areasidentified in the Flood Hazard Overlay on planning scheme mapsOM005a – OM005i. The temporary local planning instrument willcommence on 31 March 2017 and will cease to have effect on30 March 2018.
The temporary local planning instrument is intended to addressthe significant risk of unmanaged filling and excavating in areasaffected by flooding from resulting in adverse impacts as a resultof a reduction in flood storage and changes to flows, velocities orlevels for flood events.

Economic Development Act 2012
NORTHSHORE HAMILTONPRIORITY DEVELOPMENT AREATEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
Under the provisions of section 124 of the Economic DevelopmentAct 2012 (the Act) the Minister for Economic DevelopmentQueensland (the MEDQ) gives notice that from 31 March 2017it will temporarily close part of a road in the Northshore HamiltonPriority Development Area.
Under section 124(1) of the Act the MEDQ may perform functionsor exercise powers for a road closure in a priority development areathat the MEDQ considers necessary or desirable to perform itsother functions. The MEDQ has deemed it necessary to temporarilyclose part of Cullen Avenue, Hamilton comprising 3,275m² asshown on the plan below.

Description of the land to which the designation appliesThe Ministerial designation applies to land located at 2 – 4 HarveyRoad, Clinton, Qld 4680.
The land is described as• Lot 70 on CTN1861 with an area of 6.662 hectares.
Type of proposed community infrastructure for which the landhas been designatedThe land has been designated for the Clinton State School.
This community infrastructure is described under the SustainablePlanning Regulations 2009, schedule 2 as:(4) community and cultural facilities, including facilities where
an education and care service under the Education and CareServices National Law (Queensland) is operated or a childcare service under the Child Care Act 2002 is conducted,community centres, meeting halls, galleries and libraries;
(6) educational facilities;(15) storage and works depots and similar facilities, including
administrative facilities associated with the provision ormaintenance of the community infrastructure mentioned inthis part; and
