What kind of media institution might distribute your media product

and why?

• The type of institution I would choose to distribute my media product would be IPC Media.

• I have chosen IPC Media because it creates content for a variety of different media platforms including print, online, mobile, tablets and events, so it would be able to provide for my magazine as it is print media. IPC Media is the UK’s leading consumer magazine publisher and engages with almost two thirds of UK women, therefore it is likely to suit my magazine as it is aimed more at women than men.

• IPC Media distribute other music magazines such as NME, therefore they are experienced in distributing magazines with a similar genre to mine. They also distribute many women’s magazines that have a similar target audience to mine such as Look and Marie Claire.

• IPC distribute more than 60 iconic media brands, and their award winning portfolio of websites reaches over 25 million users globally every month.
