Question 6 – What have you learned about technologies from the process of constructing this product? During the construction of my media product I used various technologies to help me. To take the photos of the band for my magazine I used a Nikon D5100. This was a good camera to use as it lets you adjust the focus and aperture whilst you are taking the photos. I also used my mobile phone, a HTC Desire S, to take the photos at the All Time Low gig. The camera on this phone is very good and was easy to use as it’s a handheld device. I edited my photos in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom and created my front cover in Photoshop CS5. I have used this software before in the past and I find it very easy to use. I recorded all of my work on Blogger which allowed me to keep everything together and not have a risk of losing it. I find that Blogger is very easy to use as I am used to using blogging sites like Tumblr. I used a site called SlideShare to upload my PowerPoint slides onto my blog. Again, this is a very simple site to use and because I have experience with HTML codes, I found it easy to attach my PowerPoint onto my blog.
