Writing 3 420 Please answer the following questions in Paragraphs!!!! 1. What areas need help? What type of questions are you getting wrong? Be specific. Do not write down Writing or Reading. (For example: sentence completion cause and effect; critical reading vocab in context, identify sentence errors subject verb agreement; critical reading main idea questions. My Reading score is going to be fine. It’s clear, looking at both my ePrep and actual SAT score that I excel in that section. What I do need help with is grammar. English grammar and I have never clicked, and, for various reasons, I’ve never made a real effort to learn the rules that I should (as was evident in my CW quizzes). Specifically, correcting grammar that has subject-verb issues, and pronoun errors, whether they be shift or just incorrect usage. It’s something that this course is forcing me to work on, and I think I will improve over time. 2. What strategies do you use the most? How are they helpful? Will you continue to use them? One strategy that I find particularly helpful is that “read on the first bit” in regards to the analysis section of reading. Since you’re bound to have to go back and reread the passage anyway, why bother doing it in two passes? It saves me time and lets me review. Other than that, it’s the writing essay strategies that have been helping me the most. I’ve never been down to the wire with reading or writing, so I can’t say that
