ORCiD provides a persistent digital identifier that distinguishes you from every other researcher and, through integration in key research workflows such as manuscript and grant submission, supports automated linkages between you and your professional activities ensuring that your work is recognised. For information and support on ORCiD please visit orcid.org Link an ORCiD to Pure In the Personal tab, click Edit profile. In the Edit profile screen click Create or Connect your ORCID ID. Pure explains what information will be shared with ORCiD today and routinely. Click Proceed. You will be directed to the ORCiD website – you can create a new ORCiD, or sign in and authorise Pure to access to your existing ID. Instructions follow. Create a new ORCiD from Pure Click the Register now link. First and Last Name are brought over from Pure. Change these if your preferred name is not used, then enter an email address and password. Select the appropriate privacy setting. Select the frequency of email, click the checkbox for I’m not a robot and confirm you agree to the terms and conditions. Select Authorize.

Link an ORCiD to Pure

• InthePersonaltab,clickEditprofile.

• IntheEditprofilescreenclick

CreateorConnectyourORCIDID.

• Pureexplainswhatinformationwillbesharedwith

ORCiDtodayandroutinely.ClickProceed.

• YouwillbedirectedtotheORCiDwebsite–youcan

createanewORCiD,orsigninandauthorisePuretoaccesstoyourexistingID.Instructionsfollow.

• FirstandLastNamearebroughtoverfromPure.Change
