Quick Set-Up:
Print and cut out everything. Shuffle the cards and place them face down within reach of all players Give each player a board, a pencil, one die and a dragon card.
Rules:
1. Each turn a card is flipped. 2. Each player will simultaneously roll one die. 3. Any player who matches at least one number that is displayed within the top left hand corner of the card is within competition to claim the card. 3.1 If there is a tie then each player that is involved in the tie will re- roll (highest roll wins--other players that are involved in the tie that lost the tie can chose a diamond or an asterisk to put anywhere on their board) 3.2 Any diamond passed through along the dragons growth path will allow you to upgrade a section of your choice on the dragons upgrade list. 3.3 Any asterisk placed on the board acts as a free number--allowing you to cross through that space for free. 4. Once the winner of the card has been determined, that player takes the card and draws the Tetris like shape anywhere on their map. 4.1 Further, the winner of the card writes in each Tetris like space on their board the number in the top right hand corner of the card. 4.2 Finally, the winner of the card writes the appropriate diamonds and terrain type in each Tetris like space that they just drew. 5. This continues until all cards have been drawn. 6. At this time all players find the best consecutive, ascending numerical path from start to finish on their map. 6.1 Any diamond passed through allows you to upgrade one trait per diamond on your dragons upgrade list. 6.2 All dragons start at a strength of two. 6.3 Upgrading the barbell adds to your dragons initial strength.(UP TO FIVE) 6.4 Upgrading the fire symbol adds a final bonus to your upcoming knight
roll. (UP TO FIVE) 6.5 Upgrading the dice symbol adds more dice to your upcoming knight roll (meaning instead of rolling one die you can roll however many die you allot to this upgrade UP TO FIVE) 7. Each player then draws a knight card. 7.1 Next each player counts how many cacti terrain they passed through. 7.2 Cacti terrain deducts one strength per cacti terrain passed through deducted from the knight. 7.3 Each player then counts how many grass terrain they passed through. 7.4 Grass terrain deducts one strength per grass terrain passed through from your dragon. 8. Once all these have been calculated you roll your dice. 8.1 If your roll plus your strength and bonus added together is equal to or more than your knight's strength (in the top right hand corner of the knight card) then you've beaten your knight. 8.2 If your roll plus your strength and bonus added together is not equal to or more than your knight's strength then you subtract the two numbers (your knight's strength from your roll plus bonuses and strength). 8.3 You must then find this number somewhere on your board. For example: if the difference is six. Look on your board and find a six somewhere on your path and/or if it isn't on your path then somewhere on your board. 8.4 Erase everything to the right of that number, essentially destroying your path to the finish line. 8.5 Hold on to your knight card, this is the only knight you will get for the whole game and you will get another chance to beat it. 9. Next shuffle the cards and continue game play as before in order to create a new path to the finish line. (At this point you don't need to finish the whole deck just make it back to a finishing point) 9.1 Once you've reached the finish line a second time follow the same procedures mentioned above to fight your knight again. 9.2 Game play continues until someone has beaten their knight. 10. The player who beats their knight is the winner of the game.
