Report generation
• The Product owner first configures the product system as an internal product in the QP Portal.
• Issue template can (optionally) be defined as a guide for the issue creator to provide relevant information to the Products team.
• The project teams enter the issue via QP Portal, which will then be synchronized to the Public Repository of the respective QP system.
• Products team checks the Public Repository for any new issues and processes them accordingly.
• Issue Overview report will be generated automatically on a daily basis where the project teams can download to view the latest status of the issues logged.

Configure Internal Product
• The Product system owner can edit the “Is Internal Product” flag to mark the Product system as an internal product. This will allow all the internal users (with login email @3ds.com) to easily log issues related to a particular product via QP Portal and download the Issue Overview report.
• Only users who are explicitly invited to the system are allowed to start the system.• One issue template can be defined per system as a guide for the issue creator to provide relevant
information to the Products team. Once defined, all the issues logged for the system will have the template loaded as text in the Notes field of the issue.
1. Edit the system you own under My Quintiq Systems.
2. Set the Internal Product flag and create an issue template
(optional) for this system.

Log Issues for Product
• All the Products systems are listed in the Quintiq Products Systems section in the QP Portal.• When project teams found issues in any of the products, they can now log the issues to the Product system
by clicking the Enter Issue button.• To avoid confusion, you can enter issue via the QP Portal for internal product systems only. For all other
systems, issue management should still be done within QP in the Activities form instead of the QP Portal.
1. Click Enter Issue
3. Attach a file (optional). Only one file can be attached per issue at the
moment.
2. Issue template will be loaded (if defined). Fill in the issue details.
4. Click Submit.

Issues Synchronization to the Public Repository
• All the internal product systems will have a new special project in QP called “Public Repository”. All the issues submitted via the QP Portal will be synchronized automatically to the respective QP systems in the Public Repository every 4 hours.
• Option to manually import the public repository issues is available in the event the Product team would like to retrieve the issues immediately.
• Issue submitted will by default set as “to be decided” by the lead BC of the Public Repository project. If no BC was defined, the lead PM will be the default owner. The Product team should configure the lead BC/PM of the Public Repository project so that the issue owner will not be left blank.
• A new WIP counter is displayed for the number of open issues in the Public Repository. This allows the Product team to know new issues are in and they should process the issues. New activity statuses can be created. The issues can also be moved to another project or to the Repository just like the current way of issue management within QP.

• To get an update of the issues submitted, you can click on the “Issue Overview” button to download a report in Excel with all the issues submitted to the selected system via the QP Portal, with the status created/updated within the past 1 year. This includes the issues created by other users (from other projects) to the same Product system.
• The Issue Overview report for each internal product system is generated automatically on a daily basis.
• The file name includes the date/time (server time) the report is generated.
Issues Monitoring
Click Issue Overview to download the report for issues with status created/updated
within the past 1 year.
