Entourage’s goal is for you to sit back, relax and enjoy your trip! Your Tour Director will keep the group organized, on schedule, and in the loop from the time you leave the school until the time you return home.
STAY IN THE LOOP!Students and Chaperones on the trip can sign up for a text messaging block. Your Tour Director will send out timeline reminders during the trip to keep everyone on schedule and in the right places!Parents at home can also sign up to receive messages so they can learn about where the group is and what they are up to each day.
FUN FACT!Sandy was a high school band director for 34 years. In her retirement she gets to travel with cool people like you!
MOVING DOWN THE ROAD

Rest stops and/or meal breaks will be made every 2-3 hours during travel days.

Stops between the hours of 11:00 pm –6:00 am reserved for the benefit of the
driver. For safety, all participants will stay on board the coach.
BAGGAGE LIMITATIONS
Each person is allowed one MEDIUM-SIZED piece of luggage and a small carry on bag. We’ll provide some packing tips a month before departure.
An Entourage Management luggage tag should be attached to each piece of luggage and instrument.

You can expect to see a variety of chips, cookies, crackers & fruit chews.
We try to avoid items with peanuts and take on board allergy concerns seriously.
Participants are welcome to bring along additional items – but please exclude dairy items.
ITINERARY REVIEW
Day 1 – Tuesday, March 19, 2019• Meet & Greet by your Entourage Management Tour Director.
• Afternoon travel via deluxe motorcoach to New Orleans, LA.
Travel through the night with rest stops and a driver switch en route.
Bring a blanket & a pillow for your sleeping comfort!
Bring an overnight bag with some toiletries and a change of clothes
for day 2. You will not see your luggage until hotel check in.
Bring your favorite DVDs (G, PG, & PG 13 only)
Pack a bagged dinner. We will have complimentary snacks and
water at each stop but will not make an official dinner stop due to
time restraints. Please no liquid dairy products on the bus.

Day 2 – Wednesday, March 20, 2019Meals: Snacks & Water on the coach Budget for: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
• Honey Island Swamp Tour. Get ready for an up-close experience as
you weave on a 22-passenger boat through the back bayous. Your
guide has a vast knowledge of the swamp and the wildlife, which they
will happily share with you. The Honey Island Swamp is home to
alligators, raccoons, owls, wild boars, nutria, snakes, turtles, bald
eagles, black bears and many birds.
• Lunch at the French Market. Known as “America’s Oldest Public
Market,” the French Market has existed on the same site since 1791.
Encompassing six blocks on the riverside of the Lower French Quarter,
the district includes over 20 unique retail shops, restaurants, cafes, a
flea market and a farmer’s market. You can have a ball bartering for a
lower price with vendors and listening to free live music
performances.

Day 2 – Continued• Guided Tour of New Orleans. A local step on guide will join you and take you
on a journey through this amazing city! You will learn all about the French
Quarter. You will stop by for a walking tour of historic St. Louis Cemetery # 3.
Along Lake Pontchartrain’s shores you’ll learn a brief history of Hurricane
Katrina. You’ll continue through uptown and see the Universities, the 160-
year-old Streetcar line and St. Charles Avenue’s grand colonial mansions and
into the Garden District to see famous historic homes.
• French Quarter. Tonight, you’ll have free time to enjoy the French Quarter
(within boundaries) in groups of 3 or more. You may want to try a Beignet at
the world-famous Café Du Monde or just stroll around admiring the unique
architecture and quirky shops. You’ll also have the opportunity to try some
authentic New Orleans Creole food.
• Check in at the Hampton Inn Elmwood/Clearview
• Overnight accommodations

Amenities include: A hot and cold breakfast buffet served daily.
Business center, fitness center, & outdoor pool
Each room features two double beds, high speed wifi, a flat screen TV, an in-room safe, a refrigerator, a coffee maker, an iron, various complimentary toiletries, & a hair dryer.
WHO WILL I ROOM WITH?!
Students will be assigned 4 to a room in a room withtwo double beds. All chaperones will be assigned to their choice of double or single occupancy rooms, providing the numbers work out evenly.
Students will sign up for roommates in December. Chaperones will be asked for roommate preferences.
If you have any special requests or needs for your student, please contact Entourage Management.
WE’LL KEEP OUR EYES ON YOU!!!
Private Security will be provided at the hotel to monitor the room block from the hours of 10:00 pm – 6:00 am (or as appropriate for your schedule.)
Security guards will ensure that students remain in their rooms on their appropriate floors, do not disturb other guests with excessive noise and be available to assist them to get help quickly should an emergency occur during the night.
Additionally, we will make sure that the room block is arranged so that there are an appropriate number of chaperone rooms on each floor with the students.

RLHS Band performs at Washington Artillery Park in Jackson Square
• Preservation Hall Concert with Q&A Session. Established in 1961 to honor
one of America’s truest art forms – Traditional New Orleans Jazz. Situated in
the heart of the French Quarter on St. Peter Street, the venue presents
intimate, acoustic New Orleans Jazz concerts featuring local master
practitioners.
• French Quarter. Enjoy dinner on your own tonight before your ghost tour.
• French Quarter Ghost Tour. Tonight, you’ll explore the grim and ghastly
deeds of the old French Quarter. Ghosts and Spirits still haunt the legendary
Vieux Carre. You’ll visit sights of documented hauntings, ghosts, spirit and
tour the French Quarter residences in which unbelievable events took place!

Day 4 – Friday, March 22, 2019Meals: Breakfast, Boxed Lunch, Dinner
• Laura Plantation Tour. Here you will get a comprehensive view of daily life
on an 18th- and 19th- century plantation, a cultural history of Louisiana’s
Creole population, and a dramatic, entertaining in-depth look at one
extended Creole family.
RLHS Choir performs at the National WWII Museum
• National WWII Museum. This museum is the creation of the late best-
selling author (and Saving Private Ryan consultant) Stephen Ambrose. It
tells the story of all 19 U.S. amphibious operations worldwide on that
fateful day of June 6, 1944. A rich collection of artifacts coupled with top-
of-the-line educational materials makes this one of the highlights of New
Orleans.
• Beyond All Boundaries at the National WWII Museum. This is the
museum’s signature cinematic experience. Presented on a 120-foot
immersive screen, this 50-minute multi-sensory film tells the story of the
war that changed the world.

Day 4 – Continued• Rock ’n Bowl. Tonight, you’ll enjoy unlimited Bowling and a
buffet featuring Fried Seafood, Shrimp Remoulade, Buffalo
Wings, Pepperoni Pizza, Mozzarella Cheese Sticks, Chicken &
Andouille Jambalaya, and Farm Fresh Salad. Yum!
• Change into your PJs & get ready to hit the road at Rock N’ Bowl.
• Travel through the night. You’ll have one last restroom stop for
the night & a quick breakfast stop tomorrow morning.
Day 5 – Saturday, March 23, 2019~12:30 pm Arrival at Round Lake High School

Trip pricing is based on a minimum number of participants per bus. Pricing could be adjusted based on the final group numbers.
Students will be accompanied by staff chaperones who will be notified to register after student registration.

Trip Cancellation ProtectionCancellation insurance is available to you for $49.00 per person. Insurance is non-refundable and must be purchased at the time of registration. Coverage provides a full refund at any time prior to the trip should you have to cancel for documented illness, death in the family, or other emergency situations on a case-by-case basis.
If you can be replaced on the trip, a full refund less $25.00 fee will be given.

Once we’ve filled the first bus, students will be placed on a waiting list until we have enough participation to open a second bus.
Participants will be required to upload a head shot of themselves for chaperone information on the trip. Space will not be reserved without a $150 deposit. We accept Mastercard, Visa, & Discover.
