te ungläubig. Das Wildschwein saß in einem selbst ge-

bauten Auto und fuhr vor dem kleinen Baumhotel hin

und her! Die Räder waren nicht ganz rund, sondern

holperten etwas unsanft über den Waldboden, und das

gesamte Gefährt knirschte und knarzte ein wenig, aber

es hatte ein Lenkrad und eine Hupe.

„Ganz erstaunlich“, krächzte Dr. Kautz und putzte

sein Monokel. Da er nur auf dem rechten Auge kurzsich-

tig war, klemmte er sich lieber ein einzelnes Brillenglas

vors Auge, statt eine Brille zu tragen. Außerdem fand er

sein Monokel insgeheim sehr schick.

„Ja, ganz erstaunlich, nicht wahr?“, strahlte Amalie.

„Alles klar bei – autsch!“ Die Kugel war plötzlich heiß geworden, glühend heiß! Jim wollte sie loslassen, doch es ging nicht, die Kugel hing wie festgebacken an seiner Handfläche. Es brannte, doch im nächsten Au-genblick ließ der Schmerz nach, und die Kugel wurde eiskalt. und die Wände sind voller Bilder, die Anna und ich

zusammen gemalt haben. In der Ecke steht das alte Sofa

von Annas Vater und im Regal ein fast neues Radio, das

wir von ihrer Mutter bekommen haben. Ich mache es an.

Im Radio läuft ein Weihnachtslied:

und sofort fühle ich mich

ganz weihnachtlich.

Es ist der erste Winter zusammen

mit den Tierischen Vier, und ich

habe schon eine Menge guter

Ideen für die Vorweihnachtszeit.

Juli wiehert, und durch das Budenfenster sehe ich Anna,

die gerade über den Zaun springt. Sie trägt eine dicke

rote Steppjacke, und ihr halber Kopf verschwindet

unter einem riesigen Schal, der hinter ihr

herweht. Als sie reinkommt, duftet es

sofort nach Lavendel. Ich glaube, das

ist ihr Shampoo.

Anna hält Jul i die Faust hin, und Jul i schlägt ihren Hufdagegen.

Gerade als wir am roten Haus ankommen, wird auch schon die Tür aufgerissen, und vor uns steht der Nachbar. Ich bleibe abrupt stehen und starre ihn an wie einen Zombie.Seine paar Haare stehen ein bisschen vom Kopf ab, aberansonsten scheint er ganz okay zu sein. Kein Ausschlag, kein Husten und das Wichtigste:
