By George Julien

If it’s the third week in July, it’s got to be

me for the Annual PLAN Picnic.

In a very real sense it is

a family reunion. It’s a

great me to see

friends, parents, and

siblings.

Our friends from across the

river even made the journey

to Horseshoe Lake in Shaker

Heights.

As far as the

food goes, Daryl

Musick, volun-

teer, dropped

the match and

was our grill

master with Gary Woodard’s assistance.

An interesng fact about the food was

that we had about seven different types

of potato salad, and more hot dogs than

anybody can eat.

My nephew Spike and I had won the

water balloon contest three years in a

row, but Spike wasn’t

able to make it this year

so we let someone else

have bragging rights.

Gary and Marieo won

this year.

So$balls, footballs

and Frisbees were

flying a$er dinner

even some enjoyed

Origami led by

volunteer, Lisa. A

great way to unwind

on a beauful

summer day.

Really strong gratude and thanks to

Jacquie for coordinang and making it a

happy, healthy and great experience for

everybody.

The picnic is a great opportunity to visit

with people who really care about you.

The art building was a favorite, and we even got to see the judging of the duct tape art.
