1. IntroductionNOTE! Users of this file must have sufficient knowledge about Excel before using the Sort and Filter functions.
1.1 Purpose This document describes the LTE L11A parameters. 1.2 PermissionsTo assure that the correct information is delivered to the end-user of this document, some of the sheets have been locked.
2. SheetsThis file constains the following sheets: - Cover Page - Introduction (this sheet) - Radio Network Parameters (see section 2.1) - Struct (see section 2.2)
2.1 Radio Network ParametersThis sheet lists and gives information about the LTE RAN Parameters.
The following information is presented for each parameter:

Parameter Description
Data Type
Range and values Valid value range or values for the parameter.Default ValueAccess
Mandatory
Persistent
Bulk CM Included Indicates if the parameter is visible in the Bulk CM interface.
Struct Name
Parameter Name Attribute name as defined in the MOM.Sequence Length Maximum length for parameter arrays.Description
Data TypeRange and Values
Contains following information:- Brief description of the parameter.- When a parameter change will take effect.- If there are dependencies or restrictions in relation to other parameters. A dependency means that there are other parameters that may need to be changed to be consistent with the new value. A restriction means that there is a relation to another parameter that must be preserved. This information is not applicable for the data type Struct.
Data type for the parameter, e.g., long, string. If the data type is Struct it is described on the Struct Parameters sheet, see section 2.2
Default value, as initially set by the system, if not explicitly set at MO creation. Indicates if the parameter is read only, read/write, or restricted. Restricted meeans that, once the corresponding MO has been created, the parameter becomes read only and can only be modified by recreating the MO.
Indicates whether or not the parameter is mandatory to configure at creation of the corresponding MO. For mandatory parameters no default value is defined.
Indicates whether or not the parameter is stored persistently in the database of a node. Persistent data will survive a node restart.
The name of the Struct. Corresponds to the Data type column on the Radio Network Parameters sheet, see section 2.1
Contains following information:- Brief description of the parameter.- When a parameter change will take effect.
Data type for the parameter, e.g., long, string.Valid value range for the parameter.
2.2 Struct ParametersThis sheet list and gives information about structured attributes that can contain an arbitrary number of elements of the same or different type
The following information is presented for each struct:

This specifies the threshold used in reselection towards a high priority CDMA2000 HRPD band class expressed as an unsigned binary number equal to FLOOR ([-2 x 10 x log10 Ec/Io]) in units of 0.5 db. If sNonServingCell > threshXHighHrpd, reselection is considered towards the band class with higher priority. The condition must be valid during the period defined by attribute tReselectionCdmaHrpd.sNonServingCell is the RX-level value of a neighboring cell.
Takes effect: Cell lock/unlock
This specifies the threshold used in reselection towards a low priority CDMA2000 HRPD band class expressed as an unsigned binary number equal to FLOOR ([-2 x 10 x log10 Ec/Io]) in units of 0.5 db. If sServingCell < threshServingLow and sNeighbor > threshXLow (see corresponding attribute), reselection towards this lower prioritized band class is considered. The condition has to be valid during the period defined by attribute tReselectionCdmaHrpd. sServingCell is the RX level value of the serving cell and sNeighborCell is the RX level value of a neighbor frequency.
Takes effect: Cell lock/unlock

SchedulingStrategy ROUND_ROBIN
This parameter is, together with the parameter x2retryTimerMaxAuto and the value timeToWait received in message x2SetupFail, used to determine what value to use for the x2RetryTimer. This is the timer that controls the time until next retry of X2 setup after failed X2 setup or X2 link break. It is used for SCTP and X2AP retries. The timer value is calculated as follows (W = timeToWait, 0 if not received):1) At link break and first retry: x2RetryTimer is set to a random value, unique for each eNodeB, in the range of [W.. x2RetryTimerStart+W].2) At subsequent retries when the eNB is whitelisted: x2RetryTimer = x2RetryTimerStart.3) At subsequent retries when the eNB is not whitelisted : x2RetryTimer = min[2^(n-2)*x2RetryTimerStart, x2retryTimerMaxAuto] where n is retry number.

This parameter, also referred to as “T”, is the Paging Cycle used by the RBS and is broadcasted in System Information type 2. If the User Equipment specific DRX cycle is provided in S1AP Paging and has a shorter value than defaultPagingCycle, the User Equipment specific DRX cycle shall override defaultPagingCycle.
Takes effect: Cell lock/unlock.
Parameter nB is used to calculate the number and position of Paging Occasions (PO) and Paging Frames (PF). The numerical value of nB is dependent on the value of the defaultPagingCycle (T) and can be set to one of the following values: 4T, 2T, T, 1/2T,1/4T, 1/8T, 1/16T, 1/32TWhen nB is set to T, 2T or 4T, it determines the number of POs per PF, and the PO position in PF. When nB is set to a value smaller than T, it affects the System Frame Number of the PF, position of PO in the PF, and also distribution of User Equipments into “groups” with the same PF. When is set to a smaller value, the “groups” will be fewer but larger and vice versa.
Takes effect: Cell lock/unlock.

Mobile Network Code (a part of the PLMN identity) for a cell that is served by a neighbor eNB.
This parameter defines the number of digits for the Mobile Network Code (a part of the PLMN identity) for a cell that is served by a neighbor eNB.
The PLMN identity combines the following two parts: 1. MobileCountryCode, MCC, 3 digits2. MobileNetworkCode, MNC, 2 or 3 digits

Mobile Network Code (a part of the PLMN identity) for a cell that is served by a neighbouring eNB.
This parameter defines the number of digits for the Mobile Network Code (a part of the PLMN identity) for a cell that is served by a neighbouring eNB.
The PLMN identity combines the following two parts: 1. MobileCountryCode, MCC, 3 digits 2. MobileNetworkCode, MNC, 2 or 3 digits
Example: If MCC=125 and MNC=46, then plmnId=12546.
The MME Group ID (a part of a MME Id) for a cell that is served by a neighbouring eNB.
The MCC part of a PLMN identity used in the radio network.

SIB3 sIntraSearch 0
SIB3 sNonIntraSearch 0
SIB3 threshServingLow 0
Specifies the threshold for intra frequency measurements, controls whether the UE is required to perform measurements or not.The value of sIntraSearch is relative the value of qRxLevMin.
The following rule is used by the UE to limit needed measurements performed by the UE:If sServingCell > sIntraSearch, UE may choose to not perform intra-frequency measurements.sServingCell is the RX level value of the serving cell.
Unit: dB
Resolution: 2
Takes effect: Object lock/unlock
This specifies the threshold (in dB) for EUTRAN inter-frequency and inter-RAT measurements.
Unit: dB
Resolution: 2
Takes effect: Object lock/unlock
Specifies the threshold that the signal strength of the serving cell must be below for cell reselection towards a lower priority Inter-Frequency or Inter-RAT frequency.
Unit: dB
Resolution: 2
