Tue 24 Sept 2019 ECHUCA (B,D) The Port Of Echuca Discovery Centre tour transports visitors back to the hustle and bustle of the 1860’s, when Echuca was Australia’s largest inland port. Explore the story of Australia’s pioneering spirit and learn how Australia’s inland river system connected a fledgling colony to its growing cities and the outside world. The story of the power of steam and the working saw mill will have your group enthralled. Explore the restored heritage listed Echuca Wharf and the magnificent red gum walkways. Discover Echuca Moama’s unique Paddlesteamer history through the living breathing vessels that still capture the imagination of visitors, before enjoying a 1 Hour Paddlesteamer Cruise on the Murray. After free time for lunch visit the Echuca Historical Society Museum tour followed by the National Holden Museum. Returning to the motel mid-afternoon to relax before an early dinner. After dinner head back to The Port of Echuca for the after Dark Tour Journey back in time and discover dark secrets of the past... Wed 25 Sept 2019 THE SPANNER MAN (B,L,D) Departing Echuca heading to see something special The Spanner Man and his creations. On Arrival have morning tea before enjoying a tour of John and Sonia Piccoli’s country garden featuring over 25 unique life size and larger than life sculptures, including an iconic shearer, a family of deer, a pair of fighting stallions, a mallee bull, intricate garden seats and many more. John makes the sculptures by welding together antique through to modern day spanners. The tallest sculpture, “The Marlin”, is over 7 m tall, weighs 1200 kgs and is made from 3500 spanners. After the tour head back into Boort for lunch before expressing to Mildura arriving late afternoon arriving for 4 nights.

Thu 26 Sept 2019 MURRAY RIVER CLIFFS & LUNCH CRUISE (B,L,D) This morning head out of town to Red Cliffs inspect the Big Tractor in town before heading to Red Cliffs lookout to view the 70 m high cliffs over the Murray River. Returning to Mildura join the P.V Rothbury at 10.30am for the Winery BBQ lunch Cruise – This cruise offers a relaxing 5-hour return day cruise, upstream from Mildura to the award-winning Trentham Estate Winery, on the banks of the Murray River. On offer is a commentated return cruise aboard the Paddle Vessel Rothbury to the winery, a two course BBQ lunch cooked by your Captain and Staff, a tour of the winery with informative commentary and of course, wine tasting. This cruise suits all ages however, a steep stairway, or lengthy ramp to the Winery’s river front may impede access for some, but assistance is available. The cruise returns at 3.30pm for Free Time before dinner. Fri 27 Sept 2019 AUSTRALIAN INLAND BOTANICAL GARDENS & WENTWORTH (B,L,D) First visit this morning is to the Australian Inland Botanical Gardens. Australia's most unique Botanic Gardens, a prime example of what community spirit can achieve, is on display at the Australian Inland Botanic Gardens (AIBG). The plantings showcase Australian and exotic species, including a rose garden featuring over 1,600 colour co-ordinated bushes. Here you will enjoy a tractor-train tour through the gardens. Continuing to Wentworth for drive around the town visiting the park where Murray & Darling rivers meet and lock just down from the park. After lunch at a local hotel visit Old Wentworth Gaol talk, re-enactment & visit before heading to the Wentworth Pioneer Museum. Sat 28 Sep 2019 COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL (B) Today has been left totally free for you to enjoy the Country Music Festival. The will free performances in the mall area in walking distance in the main CBD and at selected venues in the evening you may want to book into one of the many performances nearby.
