What are Rainforest Biomes?Rainforests are tropical forest of trees in a region of all year heat. There has been lots of rain and heat there for millions of years!

Where are rainforest biomes located?Tropical rainforest biomes are located near the equator. There are tropical rainforests on the continents South America, Africa, Asia, Australia, and North America.

How hot is a rainforest?The temperature in a rain forest doesnt usually get higher than 93 F or below 68 F. The average humidity is between 77% and 88%!

How hot is a tropical rainforest? (Contd)There are no seasons in a tropical rainforest! It ALWAYS rains there, usually once a day! It could rain up to 400 inches of rain a year!

What types of animals are found there?Many types of animals are found in tropical rainforests. The rainforest provides lots of heat, water, and food, making it able to provide for many types of animals.

Mammals found in the Rainforest

Many mammals can be found in the tropical rainforest. These include Asian elephants, leopards, ocelots, orangutans, chimpanzees, Bengal tigers, sloths, capybaras, okapis, and many more. The animals can thrive in the warm temperatures, large amounts of water, and many plants. Birds of the Rainforest

Many types of animals are found in tropical rainforests, many of them birds. There are many birds and most of them are very colorful. The rainforest provides lots of heat, water, and food. Some bird that live in the rainforest include Macaws, Parrots, Toucans, and tons of other types of birds.

Reptiles of the Rainforest

There are many kinds of reptiles in the rainforest. These include the Emerald Tree Boa , the Chameleon, Geckos, Alligators, Caimans, Iguanas, and many more. They can blend in well with the leafy green plants.

Plants of the rainforestThere are many different trees, plants, and flowers. They have a perfect climate and lots of water for growing various tropical plants and trees.
