Listen to the sounds… What do they sound

like? How can you make

that sound?

Start off by having a look on the internet for different types of

rainmakers.

What to do

1. Design your rainmaker 2. Find a tube you could use – pringles tube?3. Decorate! 4. Put different objects into your tube to make

the rain sound! (Rice? Stones?) 5. Find something to obstruct the objects. For

example, twigs going across the tube so the rice doesn’t fall so quickly.

6. Don’t forget to seal the ends! 7. Listen to the sound of rain!8. Take pictures to show me!
