Celebration of “Eat Right India”A Poster making competition on topic “Eat Right India” according to guidelines

of UGC was organized at Raj-Rajeshwari College of Education Bhota on 05 th January, 2019. Pupil teachers of the college prepared the charts on balanced diet and with the help of charts they showed that how a balanced diet can help us to stay healthy. We should include different type of fruits and vegetables in our daily diet. In poster making competition, the first position was bagged by Priyanka from B.Ed. first semester, 2nd by Priyanka Devi from D.El.Ed and 3rd position was bagged by Meenakshi from B.Ed.

Extension Lecture An extension lecture on the biography of Merry Com was organized at Raj-Rajeshwari College of Education, Bhota on 12 th January, 2019. Resource person Mr. Gulshan Thakur explained briefly the life history of Marry Com, an Indian women boxer. He explained that how she has struggled in her life and got success. Every youth of our country should learn from her. Students should recognize their hidden talent and work hard in every sphere of life. Principal of the college, Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman also put his own views on the topic and motivated the students to nourish their talent by hard work.

Pratibha Khoj Karyakram-cum-Fresher’s Party

Pratibha Khoj Karyakram cum Fresher’s party was organized at Raj-Rajeshwari College of Education Bhota on 12th January, 2019. Programme was inaugurated by Prof. K.S.Verma(Vice Chancellor ,Career Point University). Chief Editor Him Academy Sh. Tirath Ram Sharma was special guest of the programme. Different type of cultural activities were performed by pupil teachers. P.T.A pradhan Sh. Devraj Verma, Retd. Headmaster Sardari Lal Changra, Baldev Raj, Jagdev Singh, Meena Kumari were present on this event. Principal Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman welcomed chief guest and other guests, presented in the programme. At last Mr. Fresher and Miss Fresher were declared. Pupil teacher Avinash from B.Ed. was Mr. Fresher and Kanta from B.Ed was Miss Fresher. Chief Guest Prof. K.S.Verma congratulated the winners. At last the programme was ended with National Anthem.

Micro-Teaching Workshop

Two-day workshop on ‘Micro-Teaching’ was organized at Raj Rajeshwari College of Education, Bhota on 29th January, 2019 to 30th January, 2019. Chief Editor Him Academy Sh. Tirath Ram Sharma was the Resource Person of workshop. The workshop was chaired by Principal Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman and coordinated by Assistant Professor Mrs. Sunita Gautam . Different teaching skills were demonstrated by teachers briefly. Pupil teachers of B.Ed and D.El.Ed. participated in workshop. Chief Guest of the workshop briefly explained the importance of teaching skills in teaching learning process and also shared some facts and stories related to importance of teacher in our life. Chairman of College Management Committee Sh. Manjit Singh, Principal Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman, college staff and pupil teachers were present on this event.

Extension Lecture

An extension lecture on “Geographical Structure of Himachal Pradesh” was organized at Raj Rajeshwari college of Education, Bhota on 31st January 2019. Resource person, Mr. Ashish Kumar explained the information related to different Districts of Himachal Pradesh one by one. The State of Himachal Pradesh was established on 1948 and became the 18th state of India. There are twelve districts and each district came to existence has its own culture. He also explained the history of the temples situated in H.P., culture of the state and its climate. Staff members and pupil teachers of D.El.Ed and B.Ed were present on this occasion.

Celebration of “Drug Abuse Prevention”

A poster making competition and skit on “Drug Abuse Prevention” was organized at Raj Rajeshwari College of Education, Bhota according to the guidelines of Social Security National Organization on 06thFebruary, 2019. Pupil teachers of B.Ed and D.El.Ed. participated in poster making, skit and tried to show that how drugs are harmful to human being. We should prevent the Drug Abuse so that our society can be prevented from the bad effects of it. In poster making the 1 st position was bagged by Priyanka, 2nd by Tamanna and 3rd by Ankita. Mrs. Jyoti was the coordinator of programme. Chairman of the College Management Committee Sh. Manjit Singh, Principal Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman and college staff were present on this event.

Guest Lecture

Aprajita 100 Million Smiles Programme of ‘Amar Ujala’ was organized at Raj Rajeshwari College of Education, Bhota on 08th February,2019. Superintendent of Police, Hamirpur Sh. Balbir Singh was the chief guest of the programme. Sh. Satish Sukla from District Health Department aware the pupil-teachers about the nutritious and healthy diet. He also said that beware from being anaemic because it is the biggest problem of our country and also root of all diseases. We should take a healthy and balanced diet to live a healthy life. Chairman of the college management committee also shared his own views on health is wealth. Principal of the college Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman thanked the Aprajita team for this noble work of awareness.

Educational Tour

Management Committee of Raj Rajeshwari College of Education, Bhota organized one day educational tour on 12th February,2019 for pupil teachers in which main spots were religious places ‘Maa Jwalamukhi temple’, ‘Maa Chamunda’ and ‘Maa Brijeshwari’ temple in District Kangra(H.P). All teaching staff and pupil teachers enjoyed this

educational tour came to know the importance of our religious heritage.

Celebration of ‘National Productivity Week’

‘National Productivity Week’ from 12th February, 2019 to 18th February, 2019 was observed at Raj Rajeshwari College of Education, Bhota. The various activities were organized by the college during this week. The first activity was Staff Meeting, which was held on 13th February, 2019 in which discussion has been made to equip teacher trainees with the concept of National Productivity Week. Also activities like Essay Writing Competition, Water Preservation and Waste Paper Management were organized under the theme ‘Circular Economy for Productivity and Sustainability’.

Holi Celebration

Holi festival was celebrated at Raj Rajeshwari College of Education, Bhota on 21 st

March, 2019. Pupil teachers of B.Ed and D.El.Ed enjoyed this festival of colours. Holi is widely celebrated Hindu festival of the year signifying joy and togetherness. This festival is celebrated in the midst of spring and summer season and each and every moment it is enjoyable. Chairman of college management committee, Principal Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman and staff were present on this occasion.

Guest Talk

A guest talk on ‘Bioleaching of E-Waste’ was organized at Raj Rajeshwari College of Education, Bhota on 23rdMarch, 2019. Dr. Anil Kumar (Assitt. Prof. Career Point University) explained briefly the ‘e-waste’ and said that the electronic waste is very harmful to our health as it affects nearly every system in the human body because they contain a plethora of toxic components including mercury, lead, cadmium and lithium. The health effects of these toxins on humans include birth defects, brain, heart, liver , kidney etc. Principal of the College Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman thanked the resource person for sharing their valuable knowledge.

Mehandi and Rangoli Competition

Mehandi and Rangoli competition was organized at Raj Rajeshwari College of Education, Bhota on 30th March, 2019. Pupil teachers of B.Ed and D.El.Ed participated in this competition . In Rangoli competition the 1st position was bagged by Chenab House, 2nd by Satluj and 3rd position was bagged by Yamuna House. In Mehandi competition the

1st position was bagged by Shabnam , 2nd by Manisha and 3rd position was bagged by Ravina. Chairman of the College Management Committee congratulated the winners.

Two-Day State Level Badminton Tournament

Two-day state level badminton tournament was organized at DDM Sai College of Education Kallar, Nadaun in which pupil teachers and teachers of Raj Rajeshwari college of Education, Bhota participated in singles and doubles and stay runner up. In singles winners were pupil teacher Divya and teacher Sh. Gulshan Thakur. In Doubles winners were pupil teachers Divya and Reena and teachers Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman and Sh. Gulshan Thakur.

Sports Meet

Two-day sports meet was organized at Raj Rajeshwari College of Education, Bhota on 06th April, 2019 to 07th April, 2019. Event was inaugurated by Principal Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman. Various type of outdoor and fun games were organized for pupil teachers. Pupil teachers of B.Ed and D.El.Ed were present in the event and participated in all activities. Principal of the college Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman said that games are the essential part of teaching learning process and play an important role in maintaining healthy mind, body and soul. Games gives us a lot of exercise in forming our body as well as mind.

Educational Trip

Raj Rajeshwari College of Education organized five days trip for pupil teachers from 23rdApril, 2019 to 27thApril, 2019. The main destinations for the trip were Dehradun , Rishikesh, Haridwar, Agra and Brindavan. Educational trip provide valuable

educational opportunities away from classroom, without using textbooks and pupil teacher has got much knowledge and experience. Principal Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman congratulated the coordinator for organizing successful trip and said that students on Educational trips can often learn while having fun in a more informal environment.

Guest Lecture

A guest lecture on ‘Career Counselling’ was organized at Raj Rajeshwari College of Education, Bhota on 28thApril, 2019. Director Amit Sharma (Dreem High Institute, Mehre) counselled the pupil teachers and told them how to become a good student. He also explained that how to recognize the students creativity. Prnicipal Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman, Staff members and pupil teachers were present in the programme.

Extension Lecture

An extension lecture on life history of India’s Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee was organized at Raj Rajeshwari College of Education, Bhota on 30 thApril, 2019. Resource Person Dr. Ashish Sharma explained briefly the contributions of former prime minister and said that Atal Bihari Vajpayee was an iconic leader of the Bhartiya Janta party, known for his cultural moderation, liberation and political reasonableness. He was also a renowned poet and a highly popular personality across the political spectrum. He was conferred Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian honour in 2015. Principal Dr. Raj Kumar Dhiman, Staff members and pupil teachers were present on this occasion.
