The National Conference on Data Science and Intelligent Information Technology (NCDSllT’19) aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry by exchanging innovative ideas. Data driven intelligent analysis is an important and emerging paradigm for computing in areas such as social service, Internet of Things, sensor networks, telecommunications, health-care and cloud environment. Two conferences were organized in the department in 2017 and 2018 in this area. This National Conference provides a premier forum that brings together researchers, industry practitioners, and UG/PG students to promote exchange of ideas and practices, discuss new opportunities, and to explore about the best actionable analytics framework for wide range of applications. It covers all areas in the field of machine learning, data science, artificial Intelligence, statistical, probabilistic mathematical methods, data mining, business analytics, knowledge discovery, information storage and retrieval. NCDSllT’l9 is scheduled on March 11th and 12th 2019 in association with Computer Society of India.

Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology was established under the Aegis of SABARI FOUNDATION in the year 2008 as a new entrant to Rajalakshmi Group of Institutions being run since 1997. This institution provides quality technical education that lay emphasis not only on knowledge, technology, information and communication but also aspires to empower the youth morally and ethically to serve the society selflessly. The vision is to set a benchmark for education providers in the field of Engineering and Technology, to provide quality technical education that fosters the spirit of learning and research and to spawn creative, globally competent, highly employable and disciplined professionals through an innovative synergistic model of education that promotes academic excellence, scientific pursuit and professionalism. The mission is to impart education that caters to the growing challenges of the industry, social needs of our nation and to upgrade the standard of teaching and learning skills. The spirit of research in engineering and technology among the youth is empowered through a good rapport between academia and industry. Currently the institution offers four disciplines of engineering courses: Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in the year 2008. The vision is to empower the students with high quality technical education in the field of Computer Science and Engineering to face the challenges of modern computing industry and to carry out research activities to contribute for the society. The mission is to produce globally competent and highly employable professionals, who will be innovative in solving real world problems, to train the students with high ethical values and to promote

research activities through industry academic community connections. The department was accredited by National Board of Accreditation in the year 2016-17. The department has MoUs signed with leading organizations. The department has been awarded “Best Accredited Student Branch Award for the year 2014-15 and 2016-17” by Computer Society of India. The department has an annual intake of l80 budding engineers.

Original papers that have been not submitted to other journals / conferences are invited. Prospective authors are invited to submit manuscripts reporting original, unpublished research and recent developments in the topics related to the conference. It is required that the manuscript follows the standard IEEE (IEEE standard format, double column, 10-point font). Submissions must include titles, abstract, keywords, author and affiliation with email address. Please check the paper size in your page setup to make sure you are using the letter-size paper layout (8.5inch X 11inch). The paper should not contain page numbers or any special headers. The IEEE templates in Microsoft Word (US Letter) and the LaTeX format can be found at the conference site.

Regular papers should present novel perspectives within the general scope of the conference. Short papers (Work-in-progress) provides an opportunity to present preliminary or interim results. Posters are intended for ongoing research projects, concrete realizations or industrial application/ projects presentations. The conference only accepts full manuscripts with minimum 3 pages and maximum 7 pages.

All the accepted and presented paper will be published in the NCDSllT’l9 Conference proceedings. After Peer Committee review, the selected articles will be published in the Scopus indexed Journal and UGC Approved Journals as per norms.
