Aims:To develop students’ skill to collect information, analysis and conclude on their own.

To make students use the ICT tools to share their knowledge and improve their skills to learn more from other companions.

To let them know the best use of ICT tools and skills in their learning process.

Objectives:

•To enable students to find the sources of information themselves.

•To make them aware of the election process, rights and duties of the local administrative bodies.

•To make them aware of the democratic process of development.

•To make them understand practically the concepts of ‘caste in politics’ and ‘politics in caste’.

•To benefit them in the board examination as the topic is related to their syllabus.

14th October: (Time 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm) (3 hours)

• Make the students aware of the wiki site, their email ids and the usage. (15 minutes)

• How to make/browse/access a folder/file/picture in the computer?(25

minutes)

• How to copy a file or picture (scan) from external derive/mobile phones.(30 Minutes)

• Practical work (40 Minutes)

• Issue their usernames and passwords to edit wiki page (Break)(20 Minutes)

• How to log in and edit the page:– Use the Edit Toolbar/Upload the pictures or documents (10 Minutes)– Practical work (40 Minutes)

15th October: (Time 8.00 am to 10.00 am) (2 hours)

• Practical work (30 Minutes)

• Use the Google translate feature (10 Minutes)

• Insert picture into the wiki page (20 Minutes)

• Practical work (60 Minutes)
