NSS Unit of RMCET has conducted a residential camp at Nive B.K village, Devrukh, Ratnagiri district from 11/01/2017 to 17/01/2017

The day to day activities carried out in detail during the special camp are present in this report

The support extended by the RMCET, Administration and management are highly remarkable. The time, guidance and co-operation extended by NSS co-ordinator, MU-Maharashtra gave a wide scope to conduct the activities successfully

11/01/2017, Wednesday

The day kick started with lot of enthusiasm and a spirit of enthusiasm and a spirit of teamwork rose everyone’s mouth. We started from RMCET around 7:30 pm and reached at 3 pm

Inaugural function started at 3:15 pm in GRAMPANCHAYAT of NiveB.k village. ChiefGuest for this function are as follows

From 4pm to 5pm had breakfast in, Nive B.K village and a cleaning the house which allotted us to live at the residential camp. At night after dinner there were group making activities for social work and responsibility of kitchen and household works.

11-01-2017, Wednesday

Inauguration function was start at 3.00 pm at Grampanchayat hall Nive. Chief guest for thisfunction was Mr. Chandrakant Yadav sir (President Dalit Samajh Sangh).

On the dais Principal Dr. M.M. Bhagwat, Police Patil Mr. Shantaram Epte, Mrs. RajwadeMadam & NSS Program officer Mr. Rahul Belekar were present. Principal Dr. M.M. Bhagwatwas address to the students. Mr. Rahul Belekar felicitates all the dignitaries. After theInauguration function all volunteers went to residential home & clean the inside & outside area.

12-01-2017, Thursday

The day starts with Yoga session conducted by program officer R. D. Belekar from 6am to 7am.All the voluntary are had breakfast in morning between 7:30 am to 8:30am.

The 1st group containing of 8 members were stay at house and other group went on social work ofcleaning a Siddheshwar temple of village from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. At 1pm all group gathered to havelunch. In noon at 3pm there was a speech of Mrs. Veeda Prabhudesai madam (Akhil Bhartiya GrahakPanchayat Member) on subject Grahak Jagruti.

SUB :- Grahak Jagruti ; from 3pm to 5pm.

At evening 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm there was a small group discussion about working of next day. At8 pm to 9 pm had a dinner and 9 pm to 10 pm there was cultural program.

13-01-2017, Friday

The day start with the yoga conducted by program officer R. D. Belekar from 6 am to 7 am. All the volunteers are had breakfast in the morning between 7:30 am to 8:30 am.

The 2nd group containing of 8 members were stay at house and other 4 group went on social workof cleaning of road of village and school ground from 9 am to 12:30 pm. At 1pm all group gather to have lunch. In noon at 3pm there was a speech of Dr.Rahul Marathe (Lanja Degree College).

SUB :- Personality Development from 3pm to 5pm.

At evening 5:30pm to 8pm there were a small group discussion on problem relative to village, at night 8pm to 9pm had a dinner and 9pm to 10pm there were cultural programs.

14-04-2017, Saturday

The day start with the prayer and yoga session conducted by program officer Mr. Kolekar sirfrom 6 am to 7am. All the volunteer are had breakfast in morning between 7:30am to 8:30 pm.

The 3rd group containing of 8 members were stay at house and helping our chef and other 4 groupwent on social work of construction of village road and maintenance, removing of all big rocks from roadand fill the small stones and sand. At 1pm all group gather to have lunch. In noon at 3 pm there was aspeech of Mr.Vinod Wayangankar (president of Maharastra Anddhashraddha Nirmulan samitiRatnagiri)

SUB :- Anddhashraddha Nirmulan.

At evening 5:30 pm to 8 pm all volunteers goes to village and noting village problem and givingsuggestion how to overcome from the problem. At 8pm had dinner and 9 pm to 10 pm there were a groupactivities of playing game.

15-01-17, Sunday.

The day starts with the Prayer and Yoga session conducted by program officer R. D.Belekar from 6 am to 7 am. All the volunteers had break-fast in morning between 7:30 am to8:30 am.

The fourth group was stay at house and help on work of household and other group wenton social work of cleaning of Nagzari temple. Distance from residential camp of 2 km. at 1 pmall group gather to lunch. In noon at 3 pm there was a speech of shri. Rajendra Rajwade,(Member, Jr. college of Devrukh)

Subject:-Youth Empowerment.

At 3.00 pm one group went to Ashram School for carrier Guidance to 11 & 12 Standardstudents. In the evening 5:30 to 8 pm all volunteers had village inspection of personal relatedproblems and suggestions, a government scheme and benefit. At 8 pm had dinner and 9 pm to 10pm there were Cultural programs. There were group activities of singing song and debate.

16-01-2017, Monday.

The day starts with the prayer and yoga session conducted by program officer Mr. ManikPawar from 6 am to 7 am.

The fifth group containing of 8 members were stay at house and help on work ofhousehold and other group went on social work of construction of small dam across a riverflowing from village with the help of village Sarpanch Shri. Vijay Yashvant Shinde. At 1 pm allgroup gather to had lunch. In noon at 3 pm there was a speech of Prof. Sanjay Bhandari, HOD,RMCET, Ambav.

Subject: Appropriate Technology.

At evening 5:30 pm to 8 pm all volunteers goes to village and cleaning all village andsome volunteers goes to school and take career guidance lecture. At 8 pm had dinner and 9 pm to10 pm there were group activities of group discussion, playing game and speech.

17-01-2017, Tuesday.

The day start with the prayer and yoga session conducted by co-ordination of Mr.Rahul Belekar & Mr. Manik Pawar from 6 am to 7 am.

The all group were helping in kitchen and some went to village and repair schoolground. One group draws one “Soshkhadda” at Anita Gurav’s house. At 1 pm all had lunch and2 pm there were small gift presentation with the presence of our principal Dr. M. M. Bhagwat.House owner: Gajanan Rajwade , village panchayat Sarpanch Mr.Vijay Shinde. With the full ofjoy and happiness valedictory function held and close of residential camp. At 5 pm we comeback to the college.
