This is with reference to the request made by the facility for extension in the validity of consent granted bythe Board under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.The validity of consent to operate granted to the facility vide no. ZO-I/SAS Nagar/APC/2011-12/F-158dated 17/2/2011 (valid upto 16/02/2014) under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, ishereby, further extended upto 31/03/2015 with the same conditions and following additional condition that:1. The facility will install CCTV Camera at the unloading, mixing and dumping section having connectivitywith the Board's website.2. The facility shall raise the level of partition of the storm water drain and effluent drain within one monthto rule out the possibility of mixing of the storm water with effluent during rainy season.3. The facility shall make the area all around the cell between cell and the leachate collection drainpermeable/ pucca to rule out the possibility of seepage of leachate generated during rainy season and shallprovide brick masonry wall all around the cell where the waste has been dumped above ground level oradopt other environmentally sound measures for collection of leachate, within two months.4. The facility shall get examine the hazardous waste, which has already been dumped on the cell afterstabilization, from any external expert agency within three months, to ascertain as to whether thestabilization of already dumped hazardous waste had been done properly or not.5. The facility shall take up matter with an expert agency to explore the possibility of providing mechanizedsystem for stabilization of waste instead of present practice being followed by it which is not
