Griffen Farrar

Andrew is currently serving as the Senior RA in Downey Hall and Honors House and will be going into his third year as an RA. Andrew also serves as a tutor for the University’s STEP Tutoring Center, which has a satellite oce located in the lower level of the residence halls. Andrew is one of our student representatives on the steering committee for RAppin’ 2019. Just like Grien we asked Andrew what he likes most about UW and Laramie and what he most excited about for RAppin’ 2019!

What about RAppin’ 2019 are you most excited about? I am excited to hear about some of the programming and events ideas that other regional RAs discuss at the conference. Further, I cannot wait to show o Laramie's best restaurants, outdoor spaces, and other venues.

What is your favorite thing about UW? My favorite thing at UW is the open areas in the mountains outside of town and how the University's Outdoor Program promotes environmental participation.

What is one thing that you must see in Laramie if you are visiting for a few days? Any visitor to Laramie must see the views from the city's new bike path (located at the northern-most section of 22nd Street). Not only are the views great, but you'll surely get to see local residents out with their puppies!

Andrew Meyer

Grien is currently a Residence Coordinator at the University of Wyoming working in Orr Hall. Grien serves as our Conference Chair. We asked Grien to share what he loves about UW and Laramie and what he is most excited about for RAppin’ 2019. Check out his answers!

What about RAppin’ 2019 are you most excited about? I am excited to welcome RAs from across the region to beautiful Laramie!

What is your favorite thing about UW? I love taking my dog on a walk around campus and spending some time on Prexy’s Pasture in the center of campus.

What is one thing that you must see in Laramie if you are visiting for a few days? I highly recommend checking out Vedauwoo and doing some hiking or bouldering out there if you get a chance. It is my happy place to go relax, recharge and climb.
