Our back painted Matisse line allows us to create an almost limitless number of colors to match any décor or create a desired look. With our computerized color system we are able to match any fabric or color swatch, combine that technology with our automated roller coater and you get a skillfully colored and uniform look every time! Now let’s get creative... why not let us back paint your favorite color to a texture from our Rapport line or a lite of acid etch to give it a matte look. By utilizing textures with color the possibilities are wide open.

Carvart uses only eco-friendly water based paints which produce beautiful aesthetics in the greenest possible way. Our water based paints contain the minimum possible amount of noxious substances in order to protect our environment over a long term period of time. Our products are also absent of toxic emissions and unpleasant odors while still achieving the excellence and durability of a quality product.

CATHERINE


Our Catherine line focuses on laminating hundreds of crisp translucent colors with the option of different levels of translucencies. By combining different opacities and color we can create a product to your specific privacy or light transmittance requirements. You can view a variety of standard colors by utilizing our on-line Virtual Sample or simply confirm a specific Pantone® color and we will match it in a translucent form with our computerized system. Our Catherine products are ideal for any application… frameless doors, partitions, overhead glazing, shower enclosures, wall cladding, elevator interior cabs and the list goes on. With our Bresson line and laminating technology we are able to capture any image or photo in between glass utilizing custom colors or simply black & white. You may chose from our vast variety of images, send us one of yours or work one on one with our designer to create an image of your choice. Imagine your images/ photo suspended with your choice of being highly translucent, a hint of privacy or backed by a lite of mirror making your image appear to jump out at you in 3-D effect.Bresson

Technical InformationWe use extremely high resolutions. Whenever possible, the images are printed at 1400 dpi and are continuous tone photo realistic. For your project to be as sharp as possible we need the original file to be as large as practical. A general rule is the larger the file, the sharper the final will be. The more megapixels you get from your artwork or camera, the sharper the final image will be. Simply put, the better the quality of the original file, the better the final result will look.

A proof is crucial in getting correct color so we encourage you to have one made by us.

Formats: Our Preferred File Format is a Photoshop TIFF or PSD for images and an EPS for Graphics. JPGs are less favorable but when large enough they are acceptable. Correctly produced PDF files are alsoacceptable and can yield great results.

Our preferred color space is CMYK but we can accept RGB, Lab or Greyscale. Native application files are accepted. InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop are industry standard and preferred. Please send the fonts if your design has type, or convert all text to outline. Lastly, please be assured that all technical info aside, we have the experience and expertise to make it work if its at all possible.
