A lo largo de los siglos muchos artistas han visitado Canarias. Hasta William Shakespeare habló de los exquisitos vinos de las islas. En el 400 aniversario de la muerte de este autor, la historia de los amantes de Verona, Romeo y Julieta, nos sirve como hilo conductor mientras un historiador del arte nos dibuja algo más de nuestra historia. Teatro y patrimonio en una emocionante fusión.

Throughout the centuries, many artists have visited the Canary Islands. Even William Shakespeare mentioned the exquisite wine from the islands. To mark the 400th anniversary of his death, we’re using the story of the lovers from Verona as a theme, whilst an art historian �lls in the gaps for us. Theatre and heritage magically merge.

Pam realiza un viaje en el tiempo acompañada de su �el compañero el robot H2O. Ambos vivirán una intensa aventura en busca de las respuestas que necesitan para recuperar el agua de la Tierra. Pam: en busca del agua es una obra de teatro musical infantil que tiene como propósito la concienciación de los más pequeños sobre la problemática de la escasez del agua y el consumo responsable de la misma.

Young Pam travels in time with her loyal friend, robot H2O. They both live intense adventures looking for answers that will help them bring water back to Earth. “Pam: en busca del agua" is a play that aims to raise awareness among children regarding issues such as the scarcity of water and sustainable consumption.

Los procesos de creación de Laura Mesa consisten en la repetición sostenida de una acción que implica un movimiento constante y reiterado durante la construcción de la obra a través del cual dibuja la forma visible en la que cristalizan sus creaciones.

In Art, what you can see (what something looks like) is what really matters, because it represents an idea or intention: “la imagen de un móvil”. Fundado en 1997 por Nik Bärtsch, el proyecto Mobile es el origen del planteamiento ritualista de la creación musical de Bärtsch, que se nutre de los conceptos de reducción y repetición y de su fascinación por la cultura japonesa. Junto con sus socios Kaspar Rast, Sha y Nicolas Stocker, entrelazan orgánicamente texturas de jazz, funk, música contemporánea, minimalista y ritual consiguiendo un sonido grupal enérgico y contundente y en el que relegan a un segundo plano el virtuosismo solista.

Founded in 1997 by Nik Bärtsch, the Mobile project is the beginning of the ritualistic approach of Bärtsch’s musical creation, thriving on reduction and repetition concepts as well as on his fascination for Japanese culture. Casi siempre formando parte de reputados grupos jazz o acompañando a grandes músicos de jazz, Bruno Chevillon se ha construido una sólida reputación como uno de los mejores contrabajista de la escena jazz internacional. Es en este campo, en el contemporáneo, donde las fronteras de la improvisación y la experimentación electrónica, ofrecen una mejor visión de las preocupaciones estéticas actuales de un músico de�nitivamente en constante movimiento, que se ha consolidado rápidamente como uno de los músicos referentes de su generación.

Bruno Chevillon often takes part in renowned jazz bands and also plays along great jazz musicians. He has earned himself a solid reputation as one of the best double bass players in the international music scene. In this contemporary �eld, where the boundaries of improvisation and electronic experimentation offer a better insight of current aesthetic concerns for a musician who is in constant motion, he has quickly become one of the musicians used as a reference for his generation

Reclamado como solista, colaborador o compositor, su música fue descrita por la revista JazzTimes como una “tierra exótica innombrable”. Improvisador de una técnica prodigiosa, la música de Kristjan Randalu tiene muchas a�nidades con el jazz, pero las formas y dinámica de sus piezas también re�ejan su perspicaz sentido en sus estructuras. Acompañado del guitarrista Ben Monder y el baterista Markku Ounaskari, nos presenta Absence, un sorprendente trabajo de composiciones propias tan riguroso como lírico.

A solo artist, collaborator and composer, his music was described by the JazzTimes magazine as a “unnamable exotic land”. An improviser with a prodigious technique, Randalu’s music has much in common with jazz, but the shapes and dynamic of his pieces also re�ect the sharp sense of his structures. Joined by guitar player Ben Monder and drummer Markku Ounaskari, they bring us Absence, some amazing own composition work, rigorous and lyrical.

This documentary �lm talks about the fanzine culture, from its origins until its use nowadays adapted to the new technologies. There are experiences mentioned, data and clues as to how it works, as well as the connections of this unique countercultural means of expression with others such as the Internet and Do it Yourself.

Nicolás Laiz Placeres presenta la edición del libro de artista “Elementos identitarios”, en el que recrea y parodia el hipotético descubrimiento de un yacimiento arqueológico ocurrido en Guatiza en el año 1975, donde se nos revela, entre otras curiosidades, que la cultura de los aborígenes lanzaroteños está extrañamente vinculada a determinadas prácticas turísticas.

Nicolás Laiz Placeres presents the artist book edition “Elementos identitarios” (identifying elements), a represen-tation and parody of the hypothetical discovery of an archeo-logical site in Guatiza in 1975. Among other things, he tells us that the culture of aboriginal people from Lanzarote is strangely connected to speci�c tourist practices.

La historia de este documental arranca en El Hierro, 1936. Con solo 23 años, Manuel Hernández Quintero se ha convertido en maestro y en el alcalde más joven de toda la República. Al terminar el curso escolar, Manuel acude a la isla de El Hierro para visitar a su familia durante las vacaciones. Dos días después de su llegada, se produce el golpe de estado. This story starts in El Hierro, 1936. At only 23 years of age, Manuel Hernández Quintero had already become a teacher and the youngest mayor in the Spanish Republic. When the academic year was over, Manuel goes to El Hierro to visit his family during the holiday. Two days later there is a coup.
