The BPG must be prepared to conduct an paratroop insertion as if it were conducting a combat assault onto the drop zone. The Sydney- based infantry paratroopers wear the distinctive airbourne-forces maroon beret with the Royal Australian Regiment’s ‘Skippy’ cap badge.
