staff 2017-2018

The following is the list of Staff members for the academic year 2017-18.

curriculum night

The Curriculum Night is the first meeting of the academic year between the teachers and parents. The teachers of the respective grades will present the curriculum of the year during the Curriculum Night and parents will have the opportunity to interact with the teachers. It is important for the parents to attend the Curriculum Night in order to understand what their child is going to learn through the year and also to meet the teachers and other parents in their child’s class.

We look forward to meeting you at the Curriculum Night.

cornice

The Rato Bangala School Magazine, Cornice is sent home with the students at the beginning of each academic year. Cornice showcases the creativity and writing talents of our students. It also reflects the diverse class projects, artwork and writings across grades and curriculum. We thank the parents and friends who continue to support Cornice with advertisements and have made it

possible to distribute it free of cost to all RBS students as well as to schools around the country.

parent representatives

Rato Bangala School works together with parents to meet the shared goal of educating the child in the best way possible. The Parent Representatives for the academic year are chosen during the Curriculum Night. Two interested parents can volunteer to become the Parent Representatives of their class in order to facilitate effective communication between home and school.

positions in the parent teacher association (pta)

The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) was set up by Rato Bangala School from the academic year 2003-2004. The PTA consists of 6 parents, 6 teachers and the Principal and Director. Two parents each represent Grades I-III, IV-VI and VII-X respectively. Parents will qualify for the PTA representative candidate only after their child has completed a year at Rato Bangala. This year two places will be vacant

from Group 2 which is comprised of Grades IV-VI and one from Group 3 (Grades VII-X). We look forward to have eager parents volunteer for these positions.

Mission statement of the PTA

We believe that a partnership between the school and the parents will ensure that we meet our common goal of providing a holistic education to our students through mutually respectful interactions in the spirit of the mission and philosophy of Rato Bangala School.
