7 Wonders of the World

Natural Wonder I think the Aurora is a Natural Wonder.

are naturally occurring lights that create intriguing and spectacular displays in the sky.

Its found in Antarctica in the horizon. The are made naturally in nature.

Its is a wonder for me because I think they are very beautiful and rare to find.

Ancient Wonder The Great Pyramid of Giza. At the city of Giza, a necropolis of ancient

Memphis, and today part of Greater Cairo, Egypt. The great pyramid is believed to have been built over a 20 year period.

The site was first prepared, and blocks of stone were transported and placed.

its a wonder to me because its is very unique and detailed.

Medieval Wonder

The Great Wall of China. The individual sections weren't connected

until the Qin dynasty (221-206 B.C.). Qin Shihuangdi, First Emperor of Qin began conscripting peasants, enemies, and anyone else who wasn't tied to the land to go to work on the wall.

I think its is a wonder because it is a great part of the history it is the largest wall in the world.

Under Water Wonder The Galapagos Islands.  Rising from the Pacific 600 miles west of

Ecuador are arid islands whose name, for obvious reasons, is a Spanish word for tortoises.

It was apart of a country but continental drift moved it.

I think its a Underwater wonder because there are animals there that you cant find anywhere else in the world.

Modern Wonder The Effie Tower.  The Eiffel Tower was built for the

International Exhibition of Paris of 1889 commemorating the centenary of the French Revolution At 300 meters (320.75m including antenna), and 7000 tons, it was the world's tallest building until 1930.

Its a wonder for me because it is one of the places I want to go when imp older and I would like to see it in person.

Forgotten Wonder Aztec Temple. After the Mexicans (Aztecs) established

themselves on the island of Enoch, they were not able to build a temple worthy of HUITZILOPOCHTLI.

At the beginning, because of the lack of rock, they built it with sticks and hay. Its a wonder to me cause it is one of the forgotten Aztec places that needs recognition.

Industrial Wonder The Brooklyn Bridge is one of the oldest

suspension bridge in the United States. Completed in 1883, it connects the New York City boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn by spanning the East River. With a main span of 1,595.5 feet (486.3 m), it was the longest suspension bridge in the world from its opening until 1903, and the first steel-wire suspension bridge.
