Welcome to our second drop in event to discussproposals for the development of new homes inyour neighbourhood.
Croydon Council and their development companyBrick by Brick are seeking to build 1,000 newaffordable and private sale homes for localpeople on Council owned sites across theborough by 2019.
We met some of you on Tuesday 28 June andhave listened to your comments. You have alsosent us your initial responses.
Today you will see some of the feedback andsome changes we have made to our initialproposals in response to your comments, andthose from Croydon Council’s planning team.

MEET THE TEAM
Brick by Brick
Brick by Brick is a private, independent company, set up by the Council as its own development company. The aim is to achieve 1,000 new homes in Croydon by 2019.
HTA Design
HTA Design are the Architects and Landscape Architects for the project, and are specialists that design housing and regenerate neighbourhoods working closely with local communities.
Newman Francis
Community engagement specialists, managing the programme of engagement on the sites. They will be gathering feedback, organising events, working with stakeholders and answering webform and telephone enquiries.

• 28 new mixed tenure homes (15 family sized houses, and 13 one and two bedroom flats)
• New central landscaped space with playable landscape for 0 - 5 year olds at the heart of the neighbourhood
• New car and cycle parking for existing neighbourhood and for the new development
• Improved footpaths

This is the currently anticipated timeline for the project.
We welcome your feedback as we develop designs for new homes and improvements across your neighbourhood. Construction is currently scheduled to start in Spring / Summer 2017 and finish in late 2019. We will keep residents updated throughout the process.
There will be further consultation before a planning application is submitted and more design information for you to give your feedback on.
