Gebo, 80, died May 13, 1990. in Cabarrus Medical Center in Concord, N.C. He was born in Morrisonville on Sept. 17. 1909. Mr. Gebo was a retired firefighter, serving more than 27 years, including from 1941 at the old 26th Infantry. 1946 at he old Champlain College. In 1953 he was promoted to chief of the Air Force Base Fire Department. He retired in 1970 as chief fire inspector at Platt- sburgh Air Force Base. He was named Fireman of the Year in 1968. He was a life member of the Plattsburgh Lodge of Elks 621 and in Saranac Lake. He is survived by his wife, the former Marie Landry, of Con- cord, N.C: one daughter, Sandra Hall of Concord. N.C; one brother, Theodore Gebo of Plat- tsburgh; one sister. Elizabeth Hathaway of Lake Placid; two grandchildren, Adrienne Hall and Alexander Hall of Concord. N.C; several nieces and neph- ews. Calling hours will be at the Brown Funeral Home in Platt- sburgh on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. Members of the Platt- sburgh Lodge of Elks will meet Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 11 a.m. from St. Peter's Church. Burial will be in St. Alexanders Ceme- tery in Morrisonville. Esther Moc Lavigne -PLATTSBURGH ~ Esther Mae Lavigne, 75, of 41 Hamilton St. and formerly of West Platt- sburgh, died Monday, May 14, 1990 at CVPH Medical Center. She was born April 30, 1915 at Rand Hill, the daughter of Frank and Delphine (LaVarn- way) Frenyea. Mrs. Lavigne married Merritt L. Lavigne Nov. 27, 1940 at St. Alexander"s Church ^n Mor- risonville. He died in 1982. She wao a member jof JJt. Peter's 1942 until 1945, he was with the .U.S. Corp of Engineers in the JPanama Canal Zone. After the war, he returned to his farm in Schuyler Falls and went into the trucking business. He also worked as a pulpwood broker. ^ Until his retirement, he was the sealer of weights and measures for Clinton County. Bayless Sr., 79, cfced Monday, May 14. 1990 at Elizabethtown Community Hospital. He was born in Johnsonburg. Pa., March 18. 1911, the son of Frederick VY. and Sarah J. (Silfies) Bayless. He graduated from WiUsboro Central School and the New England Welding Laboratories School in Boston. He was a former councilman in the town of WiUsboro and a mechanic for Reynolds and Son -Chevrolet in WiUsboro. He had been a steam-turbine welder for General Electric in Schenectady. He was a member and past master of Iroquois Masonic * Lodge 715 F&AM in Essex. He was also a member of the Orien- t a l Shrine of Troy and a member and manager of the WiUsboro Town Band, a member of the WiUsboro Fire Department, a member and past president of the WiUsboro Fish & Game Club and a member of the WiUsboro United Methodist ChUrch. He was married in West port Oct. 12. 1934 to Amy N. xMoore, 7 who died July 4, 1988. -Survivors .include a son, Albert L. Bayless Jr. of Poughkeepsie; three brothers, Frank S. Bayless of New Russia, Frederick W. Bayless of Al- mond, N.Y., and Bruce J. Bayless of Sacramento, Calif.; a sister. Louise E. Raymond R, Gebo CONCORD, N.C. - Havmond

R. Gebo, 80, died May 13, 1990. in Cabarrus Medical Center in Concord, N.C.

He was born in Morrisonville on Sept. 17. 1909.

Mr. Gebo was a retired firefighter, serving more than 27 years, including from 1941 at the old 26th Infantry. 1946 at he old Champlain College. In

1953 he was promoted to chief of the Air Force Base Fire Department. He retired in 1970 as chief fire inspector at Platt­sburgh Air Force Base. He was named Fireman of the Year in 1968. He was a life member of the Plattsburgh Lodge of Elks 621 and in Saranac Lake.

He is survived by his wife, the former Marie Landry, of Con­cord, N.C: one daughter, Sandra Hall of Concord. N.C; one brother, Theodore Gebo of Plat­tsburgh; one sister. Elizabeth Hathaway of Lake Placid; two grandchildren, Adrienne Hall and Alexander Hall of Concord. N.C; several nieces and neph­ews.

Calling hours will be at the Brown Funeral Home in Platt­sburgh on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. Members of the Platt­sburgh Lodge of Elks will meet Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 11 a.m. from St. Peter's Church. Burial will be in St. Alexanders Ceme­tery in Morrisonville.

Esther Moc Lavigne -PLATTSBURGH ~ Esther Mae Lavigne, 75, of 41 Hamilton St. and formerly of West Platt­sburgh, died Monday, May 14, 1990 at CVPH Medical Center.

She was born April 30, 1915 at Rand Hill, the daughter of Frank and Delphine (LaVarn-way) Frenyea.

Mrs. Lavigne married Merritt L. Lavigne Nov. 27, 1940 at St. Alexander"s Church ^n Mor­risonville. He died in 1982. She wao a member jof JJt. Peter's

1942 until 1945, he was with the .U.S. Corp of Engineers in the

JPanama Canal Zone. After the war, he returned to his farm in Schuyler Falls and went into the trucking business. He also worked as a pulpwood broker.

^ Until his retirement, he was the sealer of weights and measures for Clinton County.

Other than cousins, there are no survivors.

He was born in Johnsonburg. Pa., March 18. 1911, the son of Frederick VY. and Sarah J. (Silfies) Bayless. He graduated from WiUsboro Central School and the New England Welding Laboratories School in Boston.

He was a former councilman in the town of WiUsboro and a mechanic for Reynolds and Son

-Chevrolet in WiUsboro. He had been a steam-turbine welder for General Electric in Schenectady. He was a member and past master of Iroquois Masonic

* Lodge 715 F&AM in Essex. He was also a member of the Orien­

t a l Shrine of Troy and a member and manager of the WiUsboro Town Band, a member of the WiUsboro Fire Department, a member and past president of the WiUsboro Fish & Game Club and a member of the WiUsboro United Methodist ChUrch.

He was married in West port Oct. 12. 1934 to Amy N. xMoore,
