On October 1, 2020, Dir. III Adrian G Alvariño, Regional
Director of PDEA RO-NCR represented the PDEA Director General
Wilkins M Villanueva in a turn-over ceremony of donated Drug
Testing Kits to the Philippine National Police National Capital
Region Police Office (PNP-NCRPO) held at the NCRPO Headquarters,
Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig City.
Dir. III Adrian G Alvariño, handed out five thousand (5,000)
pieces of Drug Testing Kits to NCRPO Chief, MGen Debold M Sinas as
a recognition of our robust partnership and strong partnership with
PNP-NCRPO.
On October 3, 2020, Dir. III Adrian G Alvariño, Regional
Director of PDEA RO-NCR served as a guest speaker at the PDEA
Documentary Series entitled “PDEA XTREME” at PINOYXTREME Channel
106, Cignal Cable Channel hosted by Dir. Derrick Arnold Carreon,
Chief PIO featuring our Supply Reduction efforts and
accomplishments for the last months.

On October 12, 2020, Director III Adrian G Alvariño, Regional
Director of PDEA RO-NCR/Chairman of ROCDD together with other
members of the committee, PBGen Florencio T Ortilla of PNP-NCRPO,
PCol Thomas R Frias, Jr., Chief, RCADD, Ms. Joan Pauline Rey of
DOH-NCR, LGOO V Charizza Laccay of DILG-NCR and Ms. Christella S
Buen of QCADAAC attended
the meeting at the Conference Room, PDEA National Headquarters.
Discussed during the meeting were the Omnibus Procedures in the
implementation of the Barangay Drug Clearing Program in the
National Capital Region (NCR), Brief orientation on the Balay
Silangan Reformation Program and Updated efforts of PDEA RO-NCR in
the implementation of BDCP.
On October 13, 2020,
Director III Adrian G Alvariño, Regional Director of PDEA RO-NCR
together with Atty. Leynard Atienza, Chief, Legal and IA V Mary Lyd
M Arguelles, Eastern District Officer conducted Anti-Illegal Drugs
Seminar for NCRPO Drug Enforcement Operatives held at the Hinirang
Multi-Purpose Hall, Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig and was attended by
PNP NCRPO Chief PMGen Debold M Sinas and other members of the
Police force.
The topics discussed during the activity were the Updates on
Illegal Drug Trends
and Modus Operandi, Salient Features of the Republic Act 9165
and Eastern District Drug Situation.

On October 17, 2020, Dir. III
Adrian G Alvariño, Regional Director of PDEA RO-NCR together
with members of the Regional Special Enforcement Team (RSET) led
the implementation of Search Warrant Operation at Brgy. Tumana,
Marikina City.
A drug den maintainer
and 7 visitors were arrested and twelve (12) grams of
Methamphetamine hydrochloride locally known as Shabu has been
confiscated worth Php 81,600.00 with
other several drug paraphernalia. The supply reduction effort of
dismantling drug den is in line with the Barangay Drug Clearing
Program (BDCP) of our Agency.
On October 22, 2020, Director III Adrian G Alvariño, Regional
Director of PDEA RO-NCR with IA V Irvin John Coderis, Asst.
Regional Director and members of the Southern District Office (SDO)
and Regional BDCP Team joined Parañaque City Mayor Hon. Edwin
Olivares together with City DILG, PADAC Action Officer and members,
Chief of Police and PCR Officer in the conduct of on-site
inspection to the proposed Balay Silangan Reformation facility
located at E. Rodriguez Extension, Brgy. La Huerta, Paranaque
City.
Mayor Olivares expressed his full support and assistance in
establishing the said
facility. The activity was concluded by a CBDRP Graduation
Ceremony led by Mayor Olivares and Director Alvariño.
