Product in gel form. Formulated with water and feed ingredients (proteins, energy enhancers, food grade vegetable gelatine), electrolytes and minerals. Treats loss of water, temperature and water stress, and improves regulation of osmosis in chicks during the first 24 hours after hatching. The feed components provide a substrate to maintain energy and protein levels that help to give the chick a good start in life. Day One Zix gives chicks a better chance to develop and avoids dehydration and stress which can lead to higher rates of immuno-suppression, mortality, loss of body weight, lower daily weight gain and feed conversion ratios. Various research projects support the evidence of a direct proportional relationship between the production data from the first four weeks of a chick’s life and the general condition of health and production during the first week after hatching.

REHYDRATING AGENT AND IMMUNE SYSTEM BOOSTER FOR DAY-OLD CHICKS

This is especially beneficial for day-old chicks, which need rapid hydration or re-hydration. Chicks find it very tasty and this guarantees consumption and efficacy. Using it on their reception on the farm helps to reduce the time taken for chicks to start taking water and feed. A good start for the chick in the first few hours is one of the most important factors for future broilers to develop to their maximum growth potential.

Use

In hatchery trays after classifying chicks. In the transport truck. On reception of chicks on the farm, placed on small plates or the floor paper on the first day. This ensures that chicks are hydrated during

an essential stage in the first 24 hours after hatching. It can be used to prevent or to treat dehydration.

Dosage

125 ml bag for 200 new-born chicks.

MethoD of Use

Very easy and simple to apply. Cut the bag on one side. Slide the fingers along the outside part of the bag towards the side so that the product comes out through the cut and spreads as evenly as possible

onto two trays, where the chicks can eat freely.

Containers

Boxes of 40 x 125 ml hermetically sealed, sterilized containers. Excellent conservation.
