The program marks the first time thatThomas Edison State College will offerclassroom-based courses twice a week atits downtown Trenton campus. Studentswill complete a combination of online andclassroom-based courses. Clinical experi-ences will also take place twice a week.

During their clinical experiences, students will care for patients under theguidance and supervision of master’s-prepared clinical nurse educators at Capital Health.

Patricia Cavanaugh, RN, MSN, vicepresident of Patient Services and chief

“It is not uncommon for nurses who earntheir BSN and MSN to become leadersin the field,” she said. “We are excitedabout this new program and the widerange of clinical experiences that studentswill have at Capital Health as they earntheir BSN degrees and join our ranks asregistered nurses.”
