What is a disciple?
• A committed Believer who is actively following Jesus Christ in an ongoing cycle of learning new lessons from God and bearing fruit by putting into practice what they have learned.
• Greek mathetes = learner• Jesus put a greater emphasis beyond simply
being a learner to that of commitment, obedience and fruit.

Purpose

Practical Implications
• This is not about content delivery. When you reach the end of your second third, stop delivering and start practicing.
• What you inspect, you expect. What you expect, you inspect.
• It’s OK to repeat sessions. Warn, comfort, help, be patient.
