NASA Tech Briefs provided the names and email addresses of 2100

subscribers, selected on an Nth name basis.

About two weeks prior to the survey, Lion Associates sent out an email to the

2100 subscribers informing them of the survey and requested that they save

their September issue.

As an incentive, they were also advised that all participants were to be

entered into a random drawing to win a $100 American Express Gift

Certificate in appreciation of their time.

An initial email was sent to subscribers advising them of the upcoming survey

and asking them to save their September issue. On September 23rd the

survey email was sent out with a link to complete the survey online. The

survey ended at 9:00 p.m. on October 18th with 106 completed surveys.
