Insert the pistol, fill up the junction box, and you´re done. The Aquasit cold casting compound offers perfect connection protection to the protection rating IP68.

Absolute function safety in case of fire: With the FireBox, you can either extend the function main-tenance cables or let them branch off.

A glutton for punishment: Special types of our large T series are flame-resistant to 960 °C and can offer special protection against UV ra-diation and knock impacts.

Whether connections in the garden, by waterways, in laundries or in a pump well – our new product can ensure a safe electrical installation anywhere. The application is simple: Aquasit is cast simply and tidily using a standard cartridge pistol. The transparent, amber-coloured cold casting compound, based on hydro-carbon resins, hardens to a soft elastic state. Aquasit is “selfhealing” and can also be easily removed.

AQUASIT

Aquasit is self-closing, meaning that it is easy to test the electrical connections after installation.

The completely cast junction box achieves a protection rating of IP68. The cable glands are used solely for strain relief.

Simple, tidy installation: Insert the cartridge, make the cast and you´re done.

The Duroplast FireBox ensures per-fect functioning even at the highest temperatures. The junction box for extending or diverting the functional maintenance cables completes the OBO functional maintenance system for safety-relevant systems.

The tested and approved types B 100 E, B 160 E and B 250 E will fulfi l your requirements reliably and safely. OBO can supply you with a complete set, including cable junc-tion boxes, four plug-in seals and a connecting unit with two bolt ties.

Well-thought-out details: Cable entries can be broken out easily.

Intelligent, touch-protected connection of the protective conductor

Draw on, drill, screw in, and you‘re done – the two pre-mounted bolt ties are also the fastening of the junction box.

The T series can cope with the toughest conditions. Its robust case can offer good impact properties. These were determined according to DIN EN 50102 and classified accord-ing to the generally valid IK code. The box is also not scared of sun-light. The UV-resistant variants are our solution for using the T series outdoors. The models can offer an additional safety bonus in the form of flame protection classification to 960 °C – protection far above the required standard.

Robust by nature. The entire construction and material characteristics of the T series are designed for good impact properties. It is thus ideally suited for tough conditions.

The UV-resistant, pure white models of the T series contain special additives which ensure a high level of resistance for outdoor installations.

Additional safety for sensitive areas: The flame-resistant variants are self-extinguishing up to 960 °C. This means that they are particularly suited for use in schools, hospitals, etc.
