Prainsa Group is composed by several companies vertically integrated in every aspectof the construction market. This integration starts from the very beginning with ourconcrete and aggregate plants and continue during the entire course of production.

Prainsa produces structural elements made of concrete throughout the entire IberianPeninsula, and in 1991 we began our international adventure in France, Latin-Americaand the Middle East.

We are capable of providing solutions for every construction requirement: Industrial,commercial, services, logistics, etc. as well as public engineering work, bridge beams,railway sleepers, etc.

We have our own technical department, which develops R&D projects, while givingcommercial support to our customers, and supervising the work carried out at the factories.

We transport and install all the precast material with our own logistics and erectionmeans; special transportation trucks, high-capacity cranes and erection teams, etc.,which enable us to maintain the agreed delivery date with our customers while preservingthe highest quality.

We complement our vertical integration finishing the job with our roofing and claddingcompany, giving our clients the choice of hiring a complete solution.

All these activities are carried out under the control and supervision of centralizedservices, which handle all the management, quality control, risk prevention and worksafety at the workplace.

Nowadays, we are also present with new investements and specific projects in severalcountries, following our plans for international expansion.

El Grupo Prainsa está formado por un conjunto de empresas que integran verticalmentetodos los ámbitos de la construcción.

Contamos con plantas de áridos y fabricación de cemento, que empleamos en el restode nuestro proceso productivo.

Prefabricamos piezas estructurales de hormigón por todo el territorio español, así comoen Francia, Sudamérica y Oriente Medio. Desde el año 91 en el que iniciamos nuestrapresencia internacional, estamos presentes bien con inversiones o bien con actuacionesconcretas en muchos países acorde con nuestra política de expansión internacional.

Transportamos y montamos todo el material prefabricado con medios propios; camionesde transporte especial, grúas de gran tonelaje y equipos de montaje, lo que nos permitegarantizar plazos y calidades a nuestros clientes.

Complementamos el acabado de los edificios con nuestra empresa de Cubiertas, yofrecemos soluciones integrales por medio de nuestra Empresa Constructora.

Prainsa inicia su actividad con el prefabricado. Prontose vieron las grandes ventajas de la construcciónprefabricada en hormigón frente a los sistemas empleadosentonces, se mejoró la calidad del producto elaborado enfábrica por personal cualificado frente a la construcciónin situ, se mejoraron plazos de entrega al poder ir fabricandopiezas en las fábricas mientras la obra seguía su curso,se mejoraron las prestaciones de la estructura ante elfuego frente a la construcción metálica.

El prefabricado se extendió por todos los ámbitos de laconstrucción: edificación industrial , centros comerciales,estadios deportivos, obras singulares como celdasprefabricadas o torres de aeropuertos, viviendas, así comoen la amplia gama de productos destinados a los puentesde carretera tanto para vehículos como ferrocarril.

Prainsa began its activity producing precast concreteproducts. The great advantages of precast versus the oldsystems soon began to surface: the quality improvementfor products made at the factory by qualified personnel,the reduction in final delivery dates due to the fact thatparts where being produced while the construction workwas still under way, and the structural benefits againstfire hazards where shown, in contrast to metallicconstructions.

Precast started expanding in every field of constructionsector; industrial buildings, shopping malls, sports arenas,special works such as precast cells for penitentiary centersand airport control towers, housing, as well as a widerange of products aimed at road bridges for vehicles andrailways.

Las fábricas de Prainsa están diseñadas con criteriosde productividad y capacidad a la vez. Son productivasporque su distribución garantiza una óptima manipulaciónde las piezas producidas, desde el momento en que sefabrican, mientras salen al parque de almacenaje, y hastaque se cargan para ser enviadas a las obras, todos losprocesos se realizan sin interferencias.

Tienen siempre una elevada capacidad de producción,porque el prefabricado debe mejorar los plazos, y una fábricade Prainsa debe poder ejecutar una obra en los tiemposmás cortos posibles, y para ello disponemos de numerosaslíneas de producción, una importante inversión en maquinariade elevación, y varias hormigoneras por fábrica con altafrecuencia y volumen de producción de hormigón.

Prainsa’s factories are designed under a productivityand capacity point of view. They are productive becausetheir distribution guarantees an optimal manipulation ofevery part produced, from the moment they are made andtransported them to the stocking yard areas, to the momentthey are loaded to be sent out to the work site, everyprocess is carried out without any interference.

This high production level, aim to reduce deadlines, andPrainsa’s factories must be able to carry out a constructionwork in the shortest period of time. T o achieve this, wehave at our disposal a huge number of production lines,a significant amount of lifting machinery, and several cementmixers in each factory capable of producing a high volumeof concrete per day.

Las posibilidades de realizar piezas prefabricadas enhormigón son infinitas, pueden hacerse tantas formascomo los clientes deseen, pero Prainsa ha realizadopermanentemente un esfuerzo de estandarización de lasformas. Esa estandarización permite reducir los costes deproducción, y simplifica tanto la elaboración de ofertas,como el empleo de las mismas por los proyectistas quedeben emplearlas.

De esta forma hemos desarrollado una gama de productosestándar que permiten solucionar estructuralmente cualquierproyecto constructivo, y en casos especiales tenemos losmedios técnicos y materiales para diseñar nuevas piezasy emplearlas puntualmente para un proyecto concreto.

The possibilities for precast products are infinite, there canbe as many forms as the customers can conceive, butPrainsa has made a continuous effort of standardizingthe forms. That standardization allows us to reduceproduction costs, it simplifies making an offer to thecustomer, and it clears the path for project designers whomust make use of them.

Argualas Sistemas de Protección es una empresaespecializada en resolver la seguridad en cubiertas de todotipo apoyándose en la experiencia y conocimiento deestructura de Prainsa y de cubiertas de TEULADES paraofrecer soluciones óptimas para el tránsito seguro en cubierta.

La legislación es estricta y delimita las adecuacionesprecisas para el tránsito y mantenimiento posterior de lascubiertas y elementos presentes en ellas. De suincumplimiento se derivan responsabilidades civiles ypenales para la propiedad y empresas titulares de loscentros de trabajo.

Es por ello que hemos afrontado esta problemáticaconsiderando las afecciones a estructura y cubierta y conel máximo rigor resolver de forma personalizada consistemas contrastados una cuestión de vital importancia.

Argualas Pr otection Syste ms is a companyspecialized in dealing with safety for roofs of all kinds,relying on experience and know-how of Prainsa andTEULADES roofs and structures, so they can provideoptimal solutions for safe transit on the roof structure.

Legislation on this subject is strict and it specifies theprecise guidelines for transit and future maintenance ofthe roof structures and the elements present in them.Failure to comply with those regulations will derive in civiland penal responsibilities for the owner or owningcompanies of those working facilities.

That is why we have confronted this problem consideringthe roof and the overall structure and solved rigorously thismatter of the utmost importance, using customized systemsof proven reliability.

Complementando a nuestra red de fábricas y al desarrollode nuestros productos, Prainsa dispone en exclusivade una infraestructura de empresas auxiliares que permitenenglobar íntegramente todo el proceso constructivo, quese inicia en el diseño del elemento prefabricado y acabaen la entrega al cliente.

Esta infraestructura consta de un sistema propio deobtención y gestión de materias primas y de una empresade talleres mecánicos que sirve de apoyo a las fábricas.Además Prainsa coordina una red logística que disponede sus propios recursos de montaje y transporteespecializados en elementos prefabricados de hormigónde grandes dimensiones y pesos que, una vez en obra,conformarán la estructura, tal y como había sido diseñada.

Complementing our factory network and to help carryingout our products, Prainsa has an exclusive infrastructureof auxiliary companies which allow us to fully integrate theentire construction process, which begins with the designof the precast element and ends with the delivery of thefinished product to the customer.

This infrastructure has its own system to obtain and manageraw materials as well as a workshop company providingsupport to the factories. Prainsa also coordinates alogistics network with its own assembly and transportationresources. That network specializes in precast concreteelements of great dimension and weight that, once theyget transported to the work site, will shape the structure,just as it was designed.

Los elementos básicos para producir un elementoprefabricado de hormigón son el cemento y los áridos.Prainsa obtiene estos recursos sin necesidad de recurrira la importación, disponemos de centros de clasificaciónpara el autoconsumo de cada fábrica, por lo que se minimizael impacto medioambiental derivado del transporte.

Actualmente la mitad de las materias primas mineralesque se consumen en España corresponden a áridos,existiendo una tendencia generalizada a su aumento. Losáridos cada día son más difíciles de conseguir, ya sea porsu escasez o por las trabas legislativas, administrativas ymedioambientales de algunas comunidades autónomas.

Nuestra empresa de áridos engloba todo lo relativo agraveras, canteras y reciclaje de piezas no válidas y restosde hormigón endurecido. Prainsa consideró el reciclajepor la imposibilidad de seguir mandando a escombreraslos restos de hormigón y piezas no aprovechables, ya fuerapor la nueva legislación medioambiental o por la saturaciónde los mismos. Esta andadura es nueva y consiste en trituraro demoler los restos y piezas para separar el hierro delárido, de manera que podemos dar otras salidas al hierroy reutilizar o verter el escombro sin problemas ambientales.

The basic elements required to produce a precast concreteelement are cement and aggregates. Prainsa obtainsthe necessary resources without the need to import them,and we have our own sorting centers for the consumptionof each factory, which minimizes the environmental printderived from transportation of such elements.

Currently, half of the raw mineral materials consumed in Spaincome from aggregates, and current studies show that thisamount will increase in the future. Aggregates are harder toobtain with each passing day, due to scarcity and the legislative,administrative and environmental obstacles of some regions.

Our aggregates company handles every aspect necessaryto produce this material: gravel machines, quarries, recyclingof invalid pieces and hardened concrete. Prainsa hasalways considered recycling due to the impossibility todump concrete unusable parts and by-products, sincedumps were reaching their full capacity and to follow thelatest environmental legislations. This is a new venture andit consists of grinding and crushing the by-products andleftovers to separate iron from the aggregate, so that wecan reuse the iron and reprocess or dump the remainingdebris without any environmental issues.

Cement mixer plants: we design and produce cementmixers of the vertical and horizontal variety, and we installany type of mixer. The Electronics department can adaptthe automatization of the cement mixer plant to fulfill thespecific needs of each customer.

Precast machinery: we design and produce auxiliarymachinery for the precast industry.

Auxiliary materials and inserts: we produce a great varietyof metallic inserts and auxiliary elements for thedevelopment of precast concrete-related activities.

Flame-cutting.

Industrial facilities: carries out “turnkeydelivery” projects for complete precast concretefactories.

El producto prefabricado acabado es acopiado en losparques de almacenaje de las fábricas. Prainsa, a travésde un sistema propio integrado de gestión, organiza,gestiona y controla todos los suministros y operacionesnecesarias para que cada elemento prefabricado lleguedesde el stock de la fábrica a su emplazamiento definitivoen la obra.

La logística es el último eslabón de la cadena y, por tanto,el más próximo a nuestro cliente. Es la fase en la quequedará patente el resultado de todo el trabajo realizadoy, por ello, Prainsa cuenta con la especialización depersonal propio tanto en la planificación, coordinación ygestión de todos los procesos, como en la ejecucióndirecta. Asimismo, Prainsa cuenta con tecnología,medios y maquinaria propia especializada para llevar acabo, entre otras, las siguientes operaciones:

Transporte, de prefabricado ligero mediante el trailerconvencional hasta las grandes vigas de 200 T n envehículo modular.

Montaje, de prefabricado de edificación, obra civil yobras especiales, contando con grúas de pequeño ygran tonelaje, telescópicas o de celosía de hasta 550Tn de capacidad.

Ejecución de soluciones técnicas de cualquier tipo. Enparticular, conexiones o ensamblaje con nuevastecnologías como el postesado.

The finished precast product is stocked up in the storagefacilities of each factory . Prainsa, through its ownintegrated management system, organizes, manages andcontrols the necessary supplies and operations for eachprecast element so that it arrives from the factory stock,to its final location on the construction site.

Logistics is the last link of the chain and, therefore, it isthe closest to our customer . It is in this phase where itbecomes clear all the work we put into the project and,for that purpose, Prainsa has its own specializedpersonnel that handle planning, coordination andmanagement of every process, as well as the directexecution of each logistics aspect. Furthermore, Prainsahas its own specialized technology , machinery andnecessary resources to carry out, amongst many , thefollowing operations:

Transportation, from light precast elements usingconventional trailers to greater 200 T on beams in amodular vehicle.

Assembly, of precast elements for buildings, architecturalor civil works, using small and big capacity cranes, aswell as telescopic and tower cranes that can handle upto 550 Tons.

Execution of technical solutions of any kind. Particularly,assembly or connection with new technologies such aspost-tensioning.
