AT4AM (Authoring Tool for amendments) is a web

application for drafting amendments. AT4AM enables

users to author amendments easily without looking into

layout or DocEP <tags>. If you are a Member, an assistant

or official working in a Committee or a Political Group

secretariats you will use AT4AM.

What are the advantages?Imagine an amendment that compares its own

columns producing bold/italic presentation. Imagine an

amendment that fills in all fields that you were typing in

manually so far. What is left for you is to write text in the

right column and table the amendment to a committee.

If you work at a committee, then tabled amendments

contain all information you need and automagically

order themselves. We ask you to review the order and

export all tabled amendments into DocEP. All <tags> and

styles are applied and amendment positions, original text

and authors are always present.

This text is an ‘active text’ which means that it has been previously interpreted by the application. By moving the mouse over the text AT4AM intuitively provides information as to whether you are in an article or in a sub point. Amending source text is therefore easy. The drafter simply selects the text to amend and makes the desired modification.

AT4AM takes care of all formatting, layout and metadata linked to the amendment such as the author, the position and the part of the text amended.
